I just got a missed call from this number.

I received a missed call from this number.  Is it a tellemarketer?  We are on the DO NOT CALL List.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone so I only go the number (no name). As soon as I picked up the call disconnected.

Being late in the workday on a Friday I blocked my caller ID and called it back. Here's what it says in some robo voice:

"You have reached the United States prescription card department. If you are calling to request a zero cost prescription card we are currently experiencing a high call volume..." it goes on and talks about who's eligible and whatnot then asks you to spell your name and leave your address after the tone.

Just got a call from this number. No voice mail left. Called it back and no answer

Missed a call from this number.  Called back and got the same "United States Prescription Card" message...

No idea who or what it was.  Weird.  My phone rang one, and the number hangs up before you can answer it?  What's the point, and who is making these weird calls?

Just got a call from this number, phone rang once and disconnected. Came up as "Texas" on my caller ID, but I have no idea who or what this is.

Just got a call from this number at 8:34pm on my MI numbered cell phone, didn't answer it but have no clue what it is.

Called my (pay as i go) cellphone..on do not call (useless) list. Did not answer..certainly won't call back!

This number calls and hangs up.  It's a prescription card service.

Missed call, called it back and said it was for a free prescription card, etc.  nobody ever picked up phone.

Even though you return the call and you get whoever or whatever company it's actually Portfolio Recovery Services. This is their way of bugging you and checking whether you answer calls or return them. Do not ever return this call it only validates. Portfolio Recovery deploys these nasty tricks to get under your skin. They are a ruthless company chasing really old debt, it does not matter the amount.
