Someone from this number just called and left a very cryptic message. No names of who they were looking for or where they were calling from were given in the message. The message simply stated that there was an issue with my payment and that I needed to call them immediately to clear it up. The phone number they left for me to call back is 1-866-777-2928. When I Googled that phone number I discovered this https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-777-2928. Apparently this was a call from Northeastern Mediation according to one of the posts in the link given. I have received several calls from them recently so it makes sense that it's them. I don't owe anyone any money so I was suspicious of the call.

Woman calling saying there was a problem with my bank payment clearing but of course doesn't say what bank or anything and wants me to call 866-777-2928. Nothing but a scam trying to get money out of people.

I have gotten several calls telling me its in regards to a pretrial case that I was involved in. Threatened to sue if I do not call back today.  I get the same recorded message after calling 2 different numbers 1-888-742-8365 and 281-909-4022. No names or case nos. just threats.

keep receiving recorded calls saying I or my legal rep needs to call them about an upcoming trial or something ( nothing I have any knowledge of) with no other info-very annoying.

It just says the number twice and that is it

I received two messages from this number that was regarding problems with my payment.  However, they never specified who they were or what payment.  I'm sure it is a scam.

Also received voice mail message from this#. Caller said I had until Friday to return call to resolve matter or lawyer would proceed. Glad message went straight to voice mail as always.

I just got the same message!! He said he was with NARG? I dont even know what that is.

Same message I got, said they been calling all month. First call I've gotten. I'm going to block them.

Got a call left message with his name Rick Powers claiming that he was from NARS collection agency and that I had until Friday to call back not even saying this message was for my name he threatened me with my ss # which I never give out to anyone on a phone/cell!! FRAUD number blocked my bills are paid no outstanding ones at all.

Annoying caller nerver stops calling. Calls all the time, wish they would stop.

These people have contacted a family friend of mine with the same last name (no relation) and my brother-in-law. Said his name was Rick Powers from NARG with an important legal matter. Who the Heck are these guys?

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Often impersonate some vague “county” agency or another.  Sometimes say they are collecting  for Vista Holdings which is basically a zombie or phantom creditor scammers often use when they are trying to collect on questionable or outright phony debts.

I got the same msg from that num 281-909-4020

This person that work at  this number 281-909-4022 saying that they are NARG collecting a debt has threaten me and that they were going to contact my husband to get payment.  People can not get away with this threatening people

I have been receiving the same threatening calls over the last month. I call back and no answer. My question is, has anyone ever spoken to a live rep? I would gladly like to ask them to verify the debt (although I know its complete Bull*@&% but a piece of my mind I would also like to give them for harassment.
