Fake Loan Scam

Got a call from the number 281-936-9256 stated that u was the primary suspect in a case. I need to call a Jeff Martin to speak with him. I asked several times what is the case regarding but the guy could not tell me- he only would interrupt me & repeat that I need to talk to Jeff

got the same call! I received at least 10 a day from various numbers! they need to be caught and put in jail for harassing people!!

Same thing said i needed to call the # back and i asked which case am i nvolved in snd he said he couldnt give no more information (indian accent) and the phone hung up.

I got a call from this number and the Guy said he was Jeff Martin a senior offcer from crime investigation unit with the IRS....he stated that he was reading me an afidavid an I would be arrested shortly. He continued to say that was being charged with various federal crimes that I was clueless about. I called all the local law enforcement in my town and there is no arrest warrant on file for me at all. Nor have i received any audit info from the IRS. This is apart of the IRS fake call, they are scammers. Adn report is available on abc.com channel 7 news.

They called saying they were was some officer for irs that i was gonna be arrested n that i cannot get an attorney said i owe 2700 dollars he keeps callibg he leaves vocie mails there is a lot of background noise

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Apparently, I need to call this guy back before I'm arrested? HA!    I kinda want to call the guy back and get into a conversation about ethics because he obviously has none.

I got a call from the same phone number today. SCAM!!! I told the guy that the IRS does not call and threaten people, so he should take a long walk iff a short pier.

I got the same call today twice that I am in an IRS scam from a JASON BRAVO Indian Accent stating that he is from the criminal investigation bureau of (IRS). If I don't call them back I will be arrested Im not calling either. He continued to say that I  was being charged with various federal crimes that I was clueless about.

I got this message call today twice that I am in an IRS criminal offense from a JASON BRAVO Indian Accent stating that he is from the criminal investigation bureau of (IRS). This is a call from the police department informing you that there is an ongoing investigation and warrant out for your arrest for back taxes and tax evasion .. you need to call me back immediately to discuss this matter .. asked for there name and they said officer carter ... he had a foreign accent with music playing in the background

Got a call from this number.. This Jeff martin guy is a scam. If u ask him for a badge number he gets mad and starts yelling NO.  Scammer

Got 10 messages on machine from THE CRIMINAL INV UNIT OF THE IRS saying if i dont call back ect. ect. I called IRS at the number in phone book and couldnt get anyone to answer question "does IRS place recorded calls by that number" she would not answer.  I know they don't and they certinly would not do it 10 times in one day.

I asked him how do I know it's true and he said I'll know when the police knock on my door......really. He called back and I told him I am recording the call and I will inform my police,miss, and local news station. He hung up.
