No voicemail message left when they call.  Tried to call back and the Operator says the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

Received a call as well. Tried to call back and advised I must first dial a 1 or 0. I dialed a 1 before the area code (which by the way does not show to be a registered US area code). Will keep checking back with this site to see if anyone has actually spoken with someone from this number. So far it seems as though it may be scam of some sort.

They just called here.  They asked for my husband and when I said he wasn't here they hung up.  The gentleman had an overseas accent.  I suspect it is some sort of scam, just don't know which one yet.

The guy who called from this number claimed he was from Microsoft and wanted me to go on my computer said it was being hacked.  I reported to police

This number called.. a gentlemen with an accent insisted he is calling based on the "problem" I am having with my computer.. He gave me a name and a different # (855 area code) saying he's from PCSpeedy when I insisted on his info.  When I mentioned my partner is a lawyer and we need anything in writing, he hung up. hhmm

Just received a phone call, no message, name unavailable. When tried to call back, received the error message that the call cannot be completed as dialed.

Me too I just received a call from 282-495-5964 he was yelling at me saying he was from Microsoft and he needed to get in my computer right away that it was being hacked!!! I told him he received the police dept. (not)and I was turning him in he hung up right away hmmmm?

Caller was a male with a heavy accent,( possibly East Indian?), said he was rep from IT dept for my Windows computer and identified me by name. Checked number and showed as invalid so I said I thought it was a scam and not to call again. Sketchy

Just received a call from this number five minutes ago. I don't answer when I don't recognize the number, and they hung up when the answering machine kicked on. Annoying...

Just happened to look up the number after listening to the voicemail which was incoherent.  
So glad I did not answer it

Yes, something about my computer...they asked for my husband by name. Said that they could see the info on my computer that I was downloading....i didn't understand where they were calling from...guy had an accent and sounded irate....he said it was probably me using the computer. It was strange.

Recieved a call from this number.  I answered the call but no one spoke or seemed to be on the line.  Strange!

Yes I received the same call and they asked for my husband. Then they said some crap like stated in other responses about windows and virus, emitting dangerous singles etc.
i just told him better hang up, Not falling for this scam, then I blicked the call( they called on my cell and knew our name)

I just answered a call from this number. Most of the time I ignore them but they keep calling back anyway so I have taken a more aggresive approach lately and get in their face. Anyway, this person didn't say a word until I finally said hello. He definitely had an Indian accent. I had him twice tell me the company he was with and both times I could not understand the name, his English, or both.He told me my computer was in a lot of trouble and needed fixing. I asked how he would know. He said. and this is a quote, "well sir, we are in charge of ALL the computers in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD and we are trying to fix them one by one". I told him to go fix all the other ones first and get back to me when I was the only one left. I also told him, in not so kind words, to stop calling me as I am on the do not call list. While I understand this means absolutely nothing to these idiots, it gives me a small bit of staisfaction to say this right before I hang up on them. For those f you who may not get it yet, this is a scam as I'm sure the next step would be for them to ask for some type of payment so that they can "fix" your computer.

This is a HACKER!!!  He got into my computer and tried to do some damage. He pretended to be from Tech support. He told me to go to my computer and see that there are viruses, so I went and checked while on the phone with him.  I told him that I don't know him and I didn't want his services and hung up.  My niece was over at my house.  I told her what happened 5 minutes later and she said that it had to be a hacker.  She ran to my computer, looked at a few things and was able to tell that he had hacked in.  She jumped into action and disconnected me from the internet, changed my IP address and did a lot of other things that stopped him from doing any more harm.  Thank God she was home.  I would have had a broken computer by now.  She told me that they can hack you just by your phone being near the computer.
