Called a lot and hung up

I Got The Same Call Today From This Number He Wouldn't Say What He Wanted The Male Voice Person Just Hung up On Me

I looked up this number online & saw the other posts. It came on Wednesday May 20 in the early evening.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer.  Didn't leave message.

I got a call from 2827262524.

received a call from this number this morning, somewhere in Jamaica.............said I won 1.something million dollars ...................... this is a scam.........I'm reporting it to my phone company.............

I received this type of call several times in the last couple of weeks.  They are telling me that I've won several hundred thousand dollars in some sort of sweepstakes, but I have to send them $160.00 to cover shipping and handeling.  This person was very, very hard to understand.  Probably was calling from India, although area code 282 is Illinois.
Like I said I've received several of these types of calls, so I thought I'd have some fun with them.  First of all the caller (which was very hard to understand) told me I would have to get the money to New York by 5:00 pm today.  I asked him if he knew where I lived.  He read off my address to me.  I then asked him what state I lived in and he replied MT.  I asked him what MT stood for and he replied Michagan. (count one for me!!)
He said that I could use Western Union to get the money to his office.  I then told him that my wife had the horse in town and it would be several hours before she would be home, (two for me) and I would have to feed the horse and let it rest before I could make the trip back to town. (three for me)  The horse was really old and didn't know if it was upto doing two trips to town and back on the same day. (make that 4 for me)
He finally extended the time until 5:00 pm tomorrow if that would help me.  I assured him that that would probably work.  He gave me a "code #" and said if anyone called back that they would have to give me that # and if they didn't to hang up on them.  The code number he gave me was 19540.
He called me back about an hour later to make sure that I hadn't talked to anyone else, and repeated the code # and made sure I hadn't talked to anyone else that might have called me about the same winnings.  I told him that my wife hadn't gotten back with the horse yet!!!!  (five for me!!!)
It was sure fun to see how long I could keep him on the phone.  I got him to stay on the line about 19 minutes.  What a riot!!!

This number called me saying they were from Africa and they were selling Chihuahua puppies for $120 and they were paying for shipping.. basically just a bunch of BS

low rate mortage modification all the way from India.

Called yet again...

I got a call from this number and he said that he is from a law firm and I needed to give him a call back at a 323 number and that is wird. so this a biggest scamm that I ever have heard.

This number called for my father,i told them to stop calling and he said f you

Had the call on my cell at 6.26pm this evening. How they got through the MS no call list I dont know, but I shall report it to them

Calls from 282-726-2524.  Have not answered. Reporting now. This call came to my cell phone. Unacceptable.

Sounds like a bunch of bs. I have had so many similar call on my cell, getting used to just ignoring it. Looks like it's time to change my number..

keep getting calls from this number, says there is a law suit against my name and ssn.  I think I would have gotten a court summons if there was.  I don't know how they are bypassing the no call list.

You are hilarious, my friend! I LOVE the way you played this scam artist! I love this! You certainly are creative. You have given so many of us a way of dealing constructively with these scams! Good job! Thank you....I loved reading your most entertaining post! Made my day! Especially since I traced the area code of this caller to Illinois....this is the state that my husband is waiting to have an interview from! We were so upset when the  man hung up on my husband! We thought he lost the opportunity to interview and this was so upsetting as he's been out of work now for nine months....I did a search to find the location/name of the number but found nothing except the location of the area code. Then did a search simply by plugging in this number to the search engine and found this site with your most humorous post! Your post brought great relief to our panic over my husband's interview situation. Gotta love it! ....hey, did your wife ever come back with the horse??? I hope she returned before midnight...you know, before the horse would turn into a PUMPKIN! What a crack up! :)

Called half a dozen times today. When told to stop calling they said F*ck you and Hung Up. Male Voice Said this. Had a Friend From the Marine Corp Text him. and told him to leave me alone.
