Received a call about a computer virus associated With yahoo account!! SCAM

First the guy pronounced my name wrong. I told him how to say it and he still couldn't say my name. Then he said he was calling about my computer. When I told him I didn't have a computer, he hung up on me!

Yea some guy called asking to speak to me then he hung up he speaks like he may be Iranian

This guy knew my husband's name and email address, as well as my name. He claimed he was with the FBI, that they had hacked into our computer and found files that marked us as terrorists. Even when we told him that we knew better than that (FBI wouldn't call, they'd just knock your door down) he still insisted that he was FBI. I will be reporting this number to the REAL FBI.

Just received a phone call from this number and the guy said he was a Yahoo Technical Support person and was talking about my yahoo account being associated with viruses and that they needed to remove them from my computer, saying the viruses were being downloaded by a third party user (so basically saying my account had been hacked) and asking me to get onto my account. I hung up after that because I figured it was a scam. I'm glad that I found this site because now I am completely sure it is a scam.

claimed my email was compromised and wanted to be connected to my computer. claimed he was from microsoft. had an accent.

I got a phone call today. I already am in the process of fighting with the bank and the fraud company.

Arabic accent. Left a vm that I don't think he knew he was leaving. A bunch of jibber ism in another language and he was talking to ppl in the background. Was a 3+ minute voicemail.

It was a women an kept saying hello not sure haha weird

Got the same call from a man with a Indian accent. New my email account and now has my phone number. I am a little worried. Who do you report this too?

Got a call from this number and everything is legit so far he said my computer was hacked and pulled up on my computer showing me what is wrong with my computer. He fixed it up and now it working great!!

You will have to do better than that Jake the Shill.  No so called computer support company can know anything about what is going on with your computer before examining it.  Everything this company says is lies and just an attempt to scam people, plant malware on their computers, and steal their personal information for use in criminal activities.  Do you believe in karma?  If so, you and your associates are building up so much bad karma it will curse your families for at least seven generations.

Give it up! No one buys that load of bs anymore. Not to mention MS doesn't call the customer, the customer calls them! Scam artists Indian woman calling from her bedroom to get my computer info. Do not give any information to these crooks they are looking to steal from your bank A/C.
