Called cell. When I called back, found the number is invalid

This number just called my cell phone as well.  Is it a bill collector?

Called me mobile. Didn't answer. No voicemail.

They phoned me today and no voicemail or nothing.  Calling back yielded a disconnected number.

I am on "do not call" list and received call from 287-526-6432.  I did not answer and no message left, and my research shows this number to be bogus.

I recieved a call on my cell from this number. I didn't answer, no voice message was left.

Same here just got a missed call on my cell at 9:00 am (4/24/10), tried to call back but says can't be reached as dialed?  Anyone know who/what this call from this number is all about?  I looked it up and only found this thread.

Phone rang at about 9:37 AM. I don't answer calls by unknown sources. It did not leave a message and I would never call back a random number because there are bill scams that could be costly when one tries to call a strange number. Do Not Call It Back!!!

i did investigate this,,, i too was called yesterday they left no message and when i called it back was invalid number... i too am on the do not call list... it is a collection agency... i had this happen before where it comes up all zeros becuz i have a block on my ohone where you have to release your number for the call to go thru how they do it i dnt know and when i answered them b4 it was for someone i dnt even know,,,and they called all day long untill i told them i was reporting them to the ftc...so do not answer it it is a collection agency claiming to be a federal agency...

same here,didnt take the call number looked weird.. no mesege left so I looked it up and i found this..

I answered it not knowing who it was.  It ended up being a person from Pep Boys automotive doing a survey on recent customer service in the store.  It was very brief only a few questions, I thought it was very fishy.  Did anyone else who received this call also recently go to Pep Boy's for servicing? Or did I just answer questions for some weird guy who was very concerned about Pep Boy's ongoing reputation?
