just got a call from this number, a syntetized voice saying hi. I think it was a prunk or some sorte, I heard of calls being made asking weird questions and them a another call playing the person's voice who answer the first call.

I just got a call from this number as well. It was a synthized call as well. It said hi and then hung up.

I came too late to the phone and got the dial tone, while trying to call back it was always busy! Unfortunately we get ab out 3 - 5 such calls a day and often also at night ...

I call a call early morning when at sleep,it said hi and hung up!

Received a call from this # at around 9am. When I answered I heard a synthetic voice say, "Hi." And then the call was terminated from the other end of the line.  Why it didn't launch into some scam attempt as would usually happen with these types of calls is beyond me.

Same thing just happened to me. Said "Hi" then hung up.

Called my cell and hung up when answering the phone.

Suggest you contact them and complain about their customer's phone number 289-326-0357. Also suggest you provide the number called you at and time they called. Point out to Distributel customer service that you're on the Canadian Do-Not-Call List and are going to file a complaint with Industry Canada and the CRTC about them (Distributel) and their client's phone number 289-326-0357.

I just had this number call me and hung up when I said hello... I don't know what the hell it was but reading these comments are kind of freaky... But glad I'm not the only one that's had this number call them...

Received 2 calls from that number within an hour today. On the first call an automated voice just said "Hi", then hung up; on the second call the connexion was broken instantly.
The regional code is from Ontario... The post above suggesting we call and complain to Distributel might be the best answer!

Same. Likely a tester for service, did anyone start getting lots of calls from another number(s) after th " hi".
