I assume another telemarketing scam.

got several phone calls  from 289-340-0094.  They never leave a message.  Any idea who this is?

289-340-0094 - It's the Ontario Liberal Party

got a call from this number 3 days in row with no answer on the other end, called it back and rings once then goes dead. Anymore calls from this number will be reported to police !!!!  Sick of it and tired of my babies being woken up because of it !!!!

they called twice leaving no messages the target lunch and dinner hours, if they are a campaigning call for some political party ..I WILL NOT VOTE FOR YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR HARRASSEMENT CALLS. respect others privacy.

Rhis person is a pain in the a**. I am not going ro vote at all now (if it turns out to be political) and there- fore, no one will get a vote. It's a shame such low tactics are being taken at this poll time.

Political parties calling for donations has been very common for years.
 
Unfortunately these [***] never leave a message, likely because they know you won't call them back.
It's not illegal to call without leaving a message.  C'est la vie unfortunately.  
Yet, since I know which party is calling without having the balls to leave a message, I will not support them.  Hmm, that means I won't support either the Conservative, Liberal or NDP party since they all cold call me and never leave a message.  Suppose I won't be voting...period.

It makes Call Display an absolute necessity these days which sucks considering Call Display can be an expensive add-on feature.

If you absolutely must have peace and quiet, turn your ringer off.  Then turn up the volume on your answering machine and decide whether or not you want to pick up.  If you use voice mail through your service provider, you're out of luck...and wasting your money.
