I just posted an ad on Kijiji.... two minutes later I get a text from 1-289-351-5501, asking me if my car is still availabe for sale. I was told or requested not to text back, but email hrtpridehey@gmail.com , signed Felicia

Placed an add on Kijiji and received text message from +1 289 351 5501 asking if equipment is still for sale.
Similar to described scenario earlier. Replied to g-mail address.
Caller and emails from person called Felicia.

I had the same as those above.

I got the exact same message as Michael above  and I got another text from chrismnulty3@gmail.com that says only get back to me via email (604-343-6099) - I think these are scams.

Just posted on Kijiji and received this text:

I also got a text saying the exact same thing about my vehicle.

Got a text message from 289-351-5501, Felicia, exactly the same as the other posts.  Definitely a scam.

Just got the same thing from a kijiji ad, its definitely a bot.

I just received a text from this number it said if the item I'm selling on kijiji was still available. It reads " Selling NEW Ibanez XF350 Falchion Electric Guitar still available for sale? Email me only at hrtpridehey@gmail.com to have deal. Pls dont reply text due to the nature of my job. Thanks Felicia. (So I sent the email her name is "Felicia Taylor") she is requesting me to send her a paypal invoice for the item and she would send someone to pickup the guitar and "inspect" it.

I send her an email saying I would only take cash :D

Happend same thing to me from the same number. I believe it might be even somebody from Kijiji, as I changed the information just before posting, but the inquiry was about my initial information, which I didn't advertise.

I got the same response as above after I posted an ad on Kijiji. Its definitely a SCAM.

I just posted a pickup for sale in Alberta and got the identical text message from 1-289-351-5501 Felicia to email ladybugvalhey12@gmail.com

I had the same call I have just made the payment and i expect paypal to have sent you a
payment confirmation email at the email associated with your paypal
account by now. Please check your mailbox (spam/junk folder included)
for the transfer confirmation/notification email. The total payment i
sent with the Shipper's fee ($300) and Money Gram transfer charges
($100) inclusive was $800.00 and it has been deducted from my account.
I will need you to send $300.00 to the pick up agent Head Office where
they normally confirm any commission payment via Money Gram money
transfer, so the Mover can be able to come for the inspection and pick
up at your place. The extra $100 is to cover the Money Gram fee. Due
to the PayPal new Transfer Policy, PayPal will not fully credit the
funds into your account until you email them the Money Gram details of
the excess shipper's fee for verification and also to enable my pick
up agent to come for inspection and pickup. Here is the agent's head
office details where the money will be sent.

Pls. Kindly email the necessary details to PayPal (Money Gram)re# and

Posted an ad on Kijiji and 2 minutes later got this text message:

Just got this Felicia character who sent me a text from 289-351-5501 and told to reply to rtgbnmk@gmail.com ... Two minutes after I posted the ad, clearly a scam.

Same text message from+1 (289) 351-5501 and to Reply to email. Name was Felicia.  Happened after I changed info on my kijiji post. Thanks for the warnings. Probably saved me from getting scammed.

Scam scam scam!! it's so realistic.. I've had plenty of conversations about it..
after the large amount of item posted at kijiji, I have received these mails.. I

Oh all good. We learn every day, you ought to have asked now i see you
are very new to PayPal procedures, It does not take long for the money
to go through.....PayPal is instant....The funds will get into your
account Immediately you send them the details you get from Money Gram.
You can go through the payment confirmation email you received from
PayPal in your paypal email account and thoroughly check your
spam/bulk folder for the payment confirmation, they might have said
you should provide the Money Gram details of excess shipper's fund for
verification and process the crediting of your account. So what you
are to do is to go to any Money Gram outlet and send the excess
shipper's fund to the shipper's info from your pocket and make sure
you get back to PayPal with the details from Money Gram by replying to
the Confirmation email you received from them earlier and make sure
you get back to me as soon as this is done and have your account
credited so that i can put you through and notify my Shipper to
schedule and appointment with you for pick up at your place and i hope
this is straight...

good morning i have had a add on kijiji and the email adress rtgbnmk@gmail.com popped up . this is felica sending me it and had the same responce as diane .

Posted a vehicle for sale and right away I get this text to call filicia. I Google it a and find out she is a scam.
