Called and left message saying he was Officer James Morrison (south Asian accent) and his call should be returned or else

Had three calls today from different numbers mentioning the same James Morrison. A scam. Didn't answer

I had same call today 1:21 pm.  Left a message.  Honestly couldn't understand very much of what he said.  Very heavy accent claiming to be police and it was very important to call back or else.  Presume it is a scam.

I called him and threatened him, he started laughing like a monkey. I will find him and post pics of before me and after me :)

I just got a call also from a so called police officer and if I didn't answer there would be a serious problem

call from 1-289-432-1075...said he or she was from the quote revenue agency and the matter was time sensitive to call back a once ......some kind of scam I have never heard of this one before...my affairs are in order do not give em the time of day.....

Received a msg in the morning, can't really understand the first part of the msg. but threatening to call back officer James Morrison or else wish "Good luck"  Very rude, and sound like something bad if not call back.  Assume it's a scam

Received a threatening call from a caller identifying himself as Officer James Morrison. He had a heavy south Asian accent with the same requests as listed in other comments here.... return call or have my attorney return the call otherwise good luck..blah blah blah. My answering service identified the incoming call to be from 289-432-1075, the same as the callback number given by this scammer. Area code 289 is a NANP overlay area code for southern Ontario. It covers a large area but should easily be traceable.... Because of the large coverage area with multiple jurisdictions, I suggest this should be reported to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) fraud department. Impersonating an officer is a serious offense, even if they don't have adequate resources to pursue all fraudulent telephone calls.

Got a text from this number that says I will probably quit my job after watching this "paychecksystem.net". I didn't click on it.
