I received this call saying Canada Revenue very important be sorry if you don't call back. This person was a male and sounded like a middle eastern Arab

My mother a call from this number saying basically the same thing, e.i., that if you don't call back, good luck to you!

Same exact thing as what Phil said.

Rec'd a message on my home phone answering machine today:
[message began midway through as though speaker started talking before the machine started recording]
"…..Issue at hand time is extremely sensitive and extremely urgent. "
[Gave this number to call back and said he was "Officer John Parker" Speaker had an accent and did not sound like a native English speaker]
"Don't disregard this message
if you don't return the call or if I don't hear from your attorney the only thing what I can do is wish you a happy new year as this legal issues unfolds."

Another number used by scammers.  IGNORE the message.  Would real law enforcement/revenue service personnel   wish you a happy new year?

I got today a phone call from this guy.One man leave a messege on behalf of Revenue Canada.I called him back and answer a lady. She start inform me that I did a fraud on my incomtax in 2008 ,2009.In the end she told me that my bank account will be frozen and in one hour the police will be at my door to arrest me for 90 days. After that she told me that if I will pay in the account which she will give it to me $3927.00 she can close the case. I realized that it is a scam and let her to know and I hang up.

Got a call at 8:34am on a Saturday..... Same message as all before..... My thought was which government agency is open on a Saturday Bahaha. So sorry you didn't get me!!
