Is this a scam call ???

I think so? I got a message from the same number but under a different name

Msg left on machine, some sort of officer.  Very broken voice.  Call officer Eric Foster immediately at 289 608 8413 or have attorney call number or face arrest.  Did not call.  Will see if they call tomorrow....

Most likely CRA scam.  Indians and Pakistanis calling you to tell you there is something wrong with your taxes and bad things will now start happening to you.  But, if you pay them some money by an untraceable means, like I-tune cards, they can make the whole thing go away.  Ignore and block the calls.  Most taxing agencies in North America initiate contact by letter.

Msg. Said he was officer Eric Foster something about money he was hard to understand broken English and the call was broken up but I got if you choose to ignore this call bad things will befall on you I see most of the msg. are pretty mush the same

Msg, office Eric Foster, call or bad things will happen, hard to hear and not clear spoken English.

clearly an attempt to intimidate, "I'm an officer and you better return this call

got call some sort of officer hard to understand message need to call back or bad things will happen his name was eric foster

I got the same message today. broken voice from officer Eric Foster but not the same # I had to call him back or bad thing will happen... the number was 289-588-0832... did he call more then once for anybody?
