Fibernetics is just the name of the company that supplied the phone number to whoever it is that calls. They supply phone lines and internet.

what can i do to stop this phone # to call on m cell?

This number started calling me after an unlisted one was yelled at repeatedly and told they'd be charged with harrassment. Strange how they call at the exact same times as the old unlisted one did.. Do not answer if you notice this number calling your cell, as it will be silent for a good 20 to 30 seconds while you repeat "hello" and if you pay for your minutes then you might be pretty angry at the end =/

You do understand that Fibernetics is the telephone company, not the people actually calling you. Just like Bell Canada is not responsible for the telemarketers that call you when they buy they phone services from Bell, so also Fibernetics is not responsible for the telemarketers. After all, the phone providers do not magically know what a company will be using the phone service for when they purchase it.

Just received two calls from this number today. Did not answer.

Got a call asking for my husband (First name only). I responded that he was unavailable (at work) and I was his wife, could I help?
She responded that it was just a courtesy call; They'd have to talk to him. (No personal identification of the company they were calling from)
When, I explained to her that since he doesn't take phone calls at home, her prefers me to deal with things, if she wanted to talk to someone she'd have to talk to me, she hund up on me.

I found who ever it was to be very unprofessional.

The number 289-639-8411 keeps calling me. They saw they are from a sweepstakes center her name is Bonnie and they say that they are from Clear Water Florida when you Google the number it says they are from
Country: Canada Location: Ontario (Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan) so where are they truly from? After 15 phone calls they still haven't removed my number from there calling list and they have the wrong person at my number. I have personally called them back and advised that if they call me again I will charge them with Harassment. I hope after 15 calls and me saying dont call that they take this advise and stop calling. good luck to you all

This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

Called this afternoon asking for my mom by her first name only. Thought that was extremely weird. Told her she was unavailable and her response was that it was just a courtesy call, then hung up.

next time they call, say "take me off the list" by law, they have to stop, if they don't, then they're doing i illegally and are trying to scam you.

They couldn't care less - they're a phishing fraud.  Your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

I'm getting phone calls and they won't answer

289 639 8411 AND 8416 are the same.  same scam.  same lies.

they want your CC info to steal from or get you to give them $$ to send you your "prize"

i just clal them back and harass them like they do to me :)
