Called our office today, left message saying it was Amanda from Outline Contracting (I think, or something similar) looking to see what are business offered. Weird.

Got our second call with message from Amanda at Outrank Electrical (that is what she said in both her messages), but I believe that they are saying Outrank and whatever industry you are in...

Was rather rude, saying that she called a couple of days ago and nobody bothered to return her call...

It is imperitive that she speak with us...

Pretty sure that they are selling some sort of online marketing services...

Reminds me of a tactic used by the BBB to get membership up by telling business owners in messages that they have people who want to do business with your business, but, they need to verify your business before they will give out your name...

Pretty sure it is a great big load of you know what....

Follow-up to previous post

Spoke with Amanda and she is with Rogers...  They are offering a lead program...  with a minimum of $500-$1500 monthly investment... for supposedly an average of 30 leads per month...

She obviously doesn't know our market, nor our industry, or the state of the economy...  But is very willing to sound like she is making promises.

They obviously haven't done their homework...  And as I suspected were a complete waste of time...

Amanda called again, we declined the offer. Then she asked if we knew any other companies whom she could call - WTF? Same thing, with Rogers blah blah blah.

Message left on machine. Amanda from Outline Contracting..... please return call 1-289-747-0893. Not doing it!

Received a call from a man from this number, rather than the Amanda girl. He is from Outrank by Rogers. He offered the same kind of deal as the other comments mentioned: giving your business more clients blahblahblah.

Just got a call from a guy leaving a message asking if I was accepting clients. I ran an ad on Kijii offering bookkeeping services. There is no reason someone from Brampton would call and ask that if he was legitimate. Who's going to drive 4 hours to get their bookkeeping done when there are lots of local bookkeepers in his area? Scam. Won't call back either.

It is despicable that Rogers allows their name to be used by these people

Sounded professional...not your typical telemarketer....but still....A telemarketer!

Corey Roberts is the "gentleman" I talked to.  Very rude and combative.  Didn't like it when I got combative with him.  He called me a [***].  Really professional....I posted an add on kijiji for catering services and this loser called me.  I will be reporting him to Rogers..which he says he works for.  DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I'm glad I Google searched the phone number and Rogers, and found this page. Same as other folks here - Amanda Chadwick from Rogers calling to see if I was able to take on any residential contracts at the moment. Interestingly, I also received a phone call from the Yellow Pages the day before saying the could get me in their directory to boost sales, etc... WTF?!

Have call blocked a few of these calls from what boils down to Rogers "new" google search ranking service.  The chirpy young people sitting in Toronto always insist how no business can get new clients without their service.  Yeah, no.  Maybe a twenty something call center agent thinks that, but most people ask their buddy.  That won't change for a long time.  Sounds like they are getting desperate.  LOL  In the meantime, they get to earn a living interrupting people.

Outrank Communications, working with Rogers ... they keep changing the number they call from but it's the same scam. I've asked repeatedly to be removed from their list but they keep calling. Time to log an official complaint.

Received a call from Roger's Octavio Coloma.  He was explaining to me how they could get me new clients and how most people are using tablets and smart phones to find services. There was a lot of other stuff he went on to talk about but was trying to get me to go on my computer to do a demonstration.  This is the 2nd yr they have called me. I'm not interested in their service.

I just got a call from this number and the guy said it was something to do with Rogers and was wondering who deals with our wireless service. I told him I was not interested and I hung up then he called again I hung up again then he called a third time I picked up the phone and sid if you call again I will have you charged with Hurassment he has not called back.
