- David| 1 replyJust got a call from this number. Foreign accent (possibly Russian) so thick, it was difficult to understand. Caller claimed to be Officer John Parker with the IRS. He knew he was talking to an answering machine, and demanded that I or my legal representative call him back on a very important issue. "If you do not return my call, the only thing I can do is wish you a very good luck as the legal issue unfolds on you. Have a nice day." Took me a couple minutes to stop laughing over this truly ludicrous SCAM. The IRS will never call you. They send letters.
- Caller: IRS SCAM
- Zeke| 2 repliesGot a call from this number. Foreign accent (Eastern Europe)) very thick & loud - plus I think he was drunk - makes sense as making calls like this would strip you of any dignity. Kept fading in & out, heard ".... officer......I or my legal representative call back.... At the end & a little more clearly, just like the previous post stated: "If you do not return my call, the only thing I can do is wish you a very good luck as the legal issue unfolds on you. Have a nice day." Could be a prank, most likely a scam.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. - DebbieI have received the same call and he has said the same thing as he has above. Very hard to understand him. It's distributing at first to get this kind of a call, but after you think about it you realize the IRS would never call you and if they did, they would never leave a message like this guy does. He is trying to scare you into calling him back. I hope no one falls for this, I can only imagine what kind of a scam this is.
- rcarsSame call and message as all the above. LOL...an Eastern European calling me from the IRS! IRS NEVER PHONES. THEY SEND ONLY US MAIL. NOT EVEN E-MAILS.
- Caller: IRS
- Fishi got the same message and you could not understand him very well , said Officer John Parker and the same as above, LOL after he tells you all the bad the he wishes you a great day . What happened to the Do not call list or any other protection from these calls.
- David CA.| 1 replyYup, I got two Calls declaring they were the IRS, same number, two different people reading pretty much the same script. One had a heavy Indian accent who was named "Lance Coorper" (yeah right). The other was strong european accent that was name "John Parker". We've neer received any mail, and we've never had any issue with the IRS.
- Caller: IRS
- Not going to be duped replies to David CA.Yep. Just got a the same guy, same message. Don't fall for it. The IRS sends letters. Is a bit laughable but it's also a pain.
- danny joseI got the same msg, then he called this afternoon, and my wife told him to f off, but i wanted to have some fun and acted like i was a little worried, and asked how much money i owed, and he replied " how much do you have?" I said i have plenty just tell me how much and give me the address. He replied "20k" i said ok give me ur address. He said "oh i will give u the bank wiring info" i replied. No I want to deliver it in person. I can hold 10k in my right hand and 10k in my left hand. Then i will giveyou a right hand knuckle sandwich and then a left hand . Then you can tell me how it feels to get knocked the f..k out with $20k in hands. He hung up.

- Fralph replies to Jean| 1 replyGot the same message, ignored it as an obvious scam. He called us back at 4:45 am. That really pissed me off. I only hope that is not a pattern
- CWG40 replies to JeanBasically they are trying to scare you. Telling you all sorts of bad things are going to happen to you, but if you just give them x amount of money by untraceable Green dot money paks, they can make it all go away. Indian scam. Been around for awhile. Block these people's calls!
- CWG40 replies to FralphIt is a pattern. If they called you once, they're sure going to call you again. Just block their calls.
- Isia replies to TamianthThank you for this information. I got a automated msg on my vm to call back regarding a bill. I'm like are you serious. Never called it though.
