When I answer there is a long pause before someone says anything - long enough for me to hang up on them!

Got a call from the above referenced number around 2:15 pm eastern.  No message left.

My called ID showed just the initials ADA.  No clue what it might stand for, and don't really care.

Got a call from 301-223-0109, a reverse look-up said it was an unlisted number on a Verizon land line in Williamsport, MD. I called the number back and got a recording that it was from the American Diabetes Assoc. and an option to remove my number. I searched the web and got this.

I received this call earlier today. We were experiencing a very bad thunderstorm and when I had the opportunity to interject and explain that I couldn't talk, the lady on the other end got irate and told me that 'you answered the phone'! Seriously, she's supposed to be calling on behalf of the ADA and she was totally rude and still asked me to donate my time to the ADA! I didn't want to hang up on her in the first place which is why I explained my weather situation, but I guess I should have.

I am getting calls from ADA from Area code 301-223-0109.  I never pick up the phone.  They call three or four times every day.  I never answer them.
I am also on a no call list.  These people must be exempt from it ???

I was getting calls from ADA---American Diabetes Assoc, which I did not answer.
Now they are coming from Unknown ...301-223-0109. They are really desperate, aren't they. I'm on DNC listing, but get these daily, all hour calls anyway.
PLEASE STOP!!!!I don't have any extra $$$$ for you.

I've received several calls from this number and they never leave a message.  ADA showed up only once as Caller's ID.  Other calls from different numbers with Unknown Name are coming through daily.  Upon looking them up online, they appear to be associated with ADA as well.  This is why I want to totally disconnect my land line . . . it is totally aggravating.  People and businesses I need to talk to communicate with me only on my cell.

have received calles from 3012230109 as well .  do not answer anything that says unknown, private or a number I do not know.  also on dnc list but apparently this does nto work as it should...  today was the 6th call in 2 days from this number and several that say ADA,  wish whoever it is would stop, don't have additional cash list much of the nation.

If you do call the number back, (301-223-0109) there is a recording an d press 1 to remove your name.  They say it will take thirty days, but will try to remove it in one to 2 days.  We were getting called at least once a day every day.

It was mentioned on TV by the FTC Chairman some days ago.
Each nuisance call will be fined at $16K if caught.
Take their advise & stop calling the many descent/respectable people.
GET A REAL JOB & stop being a damn daily auisance.

I got a call today from this number.
They didn't leave a message, but their number was on our caller ID.

I've been getting frequent calls from this number.  It appears they are also spoofing as I get a different number (200) 000-0650 listed on my call logs than I get on my caller id on my phone for the same time and location name.

We have Verizon and for a small monthly fee we put in the numbers that get blocked and they cannot reach us.  We put in every 800 number and numbers that we do not recognize, even organizations.  It is definitely worth the small fee.  Getting less and less calls all the time.
