Called 4/10/14 during day - Caller ID " Ashton236 MD"
Do not have a clue and no desire to find out.  Did not leave message

On April 12 this number called us on our landline with the caller-id also displaying Ashton236 MD.  Area code is Maryland.  NO clue as to who this is or why they are calling.  By the caller ID I assume this is a VIOP or Skype type of call

Been calling once in a while.  I just toss onto the heap of calls I don't answer.  These days more than 90% of the calls get tossed onto that heap.

April 15, 2014 I also received a call from 301-232-5248. When I answer a suspicious call, I don't say a word. It confuses the robo-call and they (or it)  hangs up.

Another caller who leaves no message.  Don't answer any of them, but it's still a pain listening to the phone ring all day.  I bought a Panasonic phone/answering machine with call blocking capability, but find it is filling up to capacity of the phone numbers it will hold about every 3 weeks.  How about our Federal government or the hugely profitable phone companies being a little more proactive with these individuals who harass us constantly?

Unknown caller left no message.

They called and when I said I wanted to research how much of my donation went to veterans he ended the call abruptly

If you have a land line (and this is one of the reasons I still do), you can buy blocking devices that extend your blocking capacity.  I fot one from Amazon for about $40.00 that blocks up to 2,000 numbers.  Its only flaw is that I can only block a number that has called me once - I can't pre-empively block a number, but I also have a Panasonic phone that blocks up to thirty numbers and my phone carrier blocks an additional twenty, and I can preset those.  At 2,050 numbers, I don't think I'll run out any time soon, but there's an election season coming up.

Received a call from this number at 7 pm this evening (Good Friday). Caller ID said "Sandy Spring MD". I didn't answer because I don't know anyone there. Did not leave a message.

4/19/14 - Got a call from this number, then just a buzz when we answered it. What the heck is going on?????

I don't answer these type calls and add them to my blocked calls list (Comcast service) but as others note, the limit of 12 fills up fast.  Then I discovered call forwarding (another Comcast service) so I picked one of the bothersome "crap" numbers and now add new pests to the call forward list.  Seems to be no limit to the size of that list.  The phone usually rings once and then they are gone.
