When I told her my listing was a fake name designed to identify telemarketers and hung up she called back with an insulting comment.

i just got a call that came up on caller id as "joan mcclure" with this number, 301-270-6108.  not recognizing it i happened to decide to "google" it and came across this site!  glad i missed the call!

Caller id said i had a callfromoan McClure as well. I was curious so I googled it and found this.I listed my number with the directory to enable marketing calls.Glad I googled this. I will be prepared with a terse response if she calls back.

'Just received a phone call from a Joan McClure (301.270-6108) on a Sunday evening asking for my mother who has been deceased for more than a year. Obviously this was very upsetting to me. When I asked her who she was and why she was calling, she was VERY nasty and turned the table on ME telling ME how rude I was!  Can you imagine! If the name on your Caller I.D. reads 'Joan McClure' with the number 301.270-6108, blow a whistle into the mouthpiece of your telephone. Maybe she'll get the hint.

I don't know a Joan McClure, and that's what showed up on the caller ID, so I didn't answer.  I have a hunch (but since I didn't answer, I can't know) that it was a collection agency looking for the previous owners of our house.

I guess this psycho is now targeting Northern Virginia for her verbal abuses.  Two calls while I was out:

Google street view shows this as a red brick two story house at the corner of Garland Ave and Davis Ave, with a sidewalk to the front door from Davis Ave.
