They asked if they could install a free alarm system in my home because they are trying to advertise in my area.  They asked if I would be willing to do that and place a sign with their company's name in my yard.  When I told them I was not a homeowner (just a renter) they said they apologized, but I don't qualify and they will remove me from their list.  Phew!

Telemarketer - didn't answer - no message left.

Free alarm system Spam.  Probably used a voice changer. I call her a C*** (i.e. cake) and hung-up.

Called just now, didn't answer, left no message

Called 4 time 20 seconds after each other.  Scammer

Called and left 3 seconds of silence on my voicemail. My number is on the National Do Not Call list. These people are breaking federal law.

Phew?? They will sell your number to another scammer.

Received 2 calls from this number today with 2 seconds of silent voicemail with each. Thanks for the above info!

Caller ID said MARYLAND. No message left. I have been getting calls from different numbers and caller IDs every day, but when I check in here a lot of them seem to be offering "free" security systems. I think they are spoofing numbers and caller IDs to see what unsuspecting citizens might be willing to pick up.

Caller ID said it was from Hughesville, MD. I didn't answer (never do) and they hung up with no voicemail left.

"These people are breaking federal law" wow that is one heck of a statement for a missed call

Caller ID said Hughesville, MD. Called twice today about two hours apart. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. First call left a few seconds of silence on voicemail. No voicemail on the second.

Called from Hughsville, MD. Didn't answer. Left a 2 second blank voicemail.

Called at 11:33 AM. Left no message.

Caller ID from Hughsville, MD.  I answered and got silence.  30 seconds of silence later, I disconnected.

Got this call at 2:30PM EST, missed the call purposefully. If they're trying to give you a free security system, and you take it you must be a genius. Now they can know when you're home or not, AND bypass their own security system when they break in. Ingenious isn't it?

Called at 2:40pm Central Time.  ID said Hughsville, MD.  I didn't answer.  No voice mail left.
