This caller called twice. The first time was about 2 weeks ago (July, 2007). The caller called me again today and hugged up.

On Sunday July 22 at 11:38 a.m. I have a charge on my mobile phone bill for a 70 minute incoming call (identified as an "A", a call waiting call?) from this 301 number. Fortunately for me it was a weekend call and I was not charged for the 70 minutes.

Received three calls from this number, when I answer there is no one there and no message is left when I do not answer it.  When I tried to call it back, the recording says it is an invalid number.

Received a phone call from this number on AUGUST 27 th of 2007 @ 12:40 PM and it was from microsoft according to the voice mail that was left on my cell. The caller also, left a call back number of 1-800-591-9396. If you registered recently for any microsoft prods, maybe that is why they are calling... Hope that helps.

I have a site with Microsoft and got this call. The reception was at best poor and the person was foreign. Could barely make out "microsoft office live basics 2007" and that was it. I guess it is microsoft. I will, and if in doubt I would have you do the same, email microsoft and tell them about it. Could be legit, but if it is they need to improve their phone service! I couldn't even understand the number they wanted me to call.

I have an open problem with Comcast/McAfee support and received a call from Level 2 tech support from this number.  This was legitimate call, and I'm surprized to see all the suspicious hits on this number.

This was on behalf of Microsoft welcoming me to the Office Live website. I did register for a free website and that is what was left in my voicemail. It was not a foreign person. This is a legit call.

Received calls from 308-392-8196. Often caller hangs up after two or three rings. This has been Technical Support from NetZero. Solely due to the accents of the various personnel, I believe the service center is outsourced to India, possibly Pakistan. It seems that they often hang up so quickly just so they can log 'attempts' to contact the customer.

Received call today from Microsoft about my registration with Office Live website. Foreign accent. I asked a low level question about the software and I could tell the person was confused and unable to answer a simple question, like she didn't even know what the software was. Why do company's contract with people who can't communicate in American English well and who do not give a good impression of Microsoft? Seems counterproductive to me. I guess it must be ok, because "everybody is doing it."
