We have a no call in place.

I received a call from this number today.  This number 1-301-454-9909 came up on my caller ID, Hyattsville,Maryland and then it switched to an international.  When I picked up I heard a busy signal.

I think this is the same group of scammers who also use 301-854-4805.  I've called my phone service's customer assistance and they are blocking these numbers ... but I'll bet that they have more.

Have received 2 calls from this number. I called it back and got a recording telling me the number has been disconnected. How can a disconnected phone make calls????

this number calls most every day for the last 3-4 weeks and hangs up before machine comes on.

Shows up as NCR Corporation on my caller ID.  Hangs up before it goes to voice mail.

Called at 4 PM today.  When I called back a recorded message informed: "That number has been disconnected".

Got a call from this number but line was dead when I picked up. Showed up on caller ID as Unknown Name.

Continue to receive this number and when answered, they disconnect.

I received a call from this number at approximately 6:25 in the evening on 3/4/2010.  At first I listened to a recorded message that talked about lowering my mortgage.  Then when the recording suggested I pressed "1" and after about 20 seconds there was a male voice on the line.  The male voice had a foreign accent.  The male voice told me that the company he worked for was called “Financial Advisors Group” but I have no way of knowing if that information was truthful.  I told the man that I would report this violation of the Federal Do Not Call list.  This company is probably using spoofing which allows a company to hide their real telephone number from phone identifier systems.  But all of us should send a complaint to the Do Not Call registry so maybe the Federal authorities will force the telephone company to reveal the real name and telephone number of this company so that they can be fined.  The telephone company knows what is the real phone umber.  Recently fines for violation of the Do Not Call registry have greatly increased.  Also, maybe your local telephone company can block calls from this number if you make a request.

Received call from 301-454-9909 at 9:05 this morning.  It went to my answering mDachine before I could get to the phone.  Tried calling back the number and it indicated it had been disconnected.

The party phishing or scamming, take your pick, didn't leave a message.  I know that my policy of never answering unknown calls pays off.

It is some mortgage zombie call that then connects you to a call center in India - It likely is a scam

I am getting unwanted calls from 301-454-9909. Caller ID says this is a internatioal call. Please block this number

I received 2 calls from 301-454-9909.  One call on 3/23/2010 and 3/25/2010.  Each time I tried to call the number, the recording informed me that number had been disconnected.  I contacted my home telephone service carrier and they instructed me to block the number.  Apparently this is common practice for telemarketers to have "one way" phone numbers that they receive from phone companies.

3-29-10 Caller ID says this is an internatioal call. Caller hangs up before the answer machine picks up.

I let the machine pick up but they left no message. 04/12/10 @ 2:55 p.m.
