this is some idiot in India claiming to be from Baltimore MD about a financial advisers group telemarketing about some crap for mortgages

Indian telemarketer claiming to be from "Financial Advisors Group" offering a mortgage reduction.  I pointed out that they violated Virginia telemarketing law in multiple ways and owed me $500 as a result, and they hung up.  If anyone has an address for them, I'd appreciate it.

Second call within a week. Caller ID shows UNKNOWN NUMBER. Had an Indian guy on the phone named "John" who said he was my loan specialist. Wanted to know my mortgage rate, I declined to give him that info and asked what was his best rate he could offer me. He said he had someone next to him that could help me. I proceeded to tell him since he was my loan specialist he should be able to give me the information I requested. After much harassment on my part and asking for a phone number in which to contact them, he abruptly hung up the phone. I also would like an address for this company.

A simple trace shows the exchange 546 for Cumberland Md. but on another site the 546 exchange doesn't exist.
Got a call today at 3:09pm EDT. Came up as unknown but revealed the number. I let the answering machine get it.. no message left and hung up.. lol

UPDATE:

After digging a bit more it looks like this number is a cell line with Metrocall as the carrier. What's interesting is when I call the number it says it's not in service.. lol

received the calls many time. answered . noone say anything. I don,t know why they are calling.It may be SRILANKAN. They sounds like Indian.Doubt on some srilankan .They are invoved in Banking and financial
activity.

I got a call from this phone number but noone said anything when I picked it up. I tried reverse searching and all of the reverse lookup sites said they could give me the info if I paid for it. I think it is just a scam to get people to pay to use reverse search for cell phones.

I get calls from this phone about once a week and there is never anybody there when I pick up, I tried doing the cell phone reverse search and they all promised they could give me the info if i paid for it. I think it is just a scam run by someone or some company to try to get people to pay for reverse cell phone lookups

It's too bad that the USA doesn't utilize the technology that is readily available to put an end to this spoofing and harassment. Other countries don't tolerate these abuses. Where are your empty promises now Mr. Osama Obama? Same place as the promises about oil cleanup? HUH?

keep getting calls from this number my answering machine goes off but they won't leave a message. I refuse to call them back but belong to the no call list so whats the deal?

Tried to call them back -- the message says that this number is no longer in service.  Neat trick -- they called 5 minutes ago and it is already out of service -- WOW.  You get rid of a bunch of these idiots and a whole new group pops up.  Is there no end to this telephone harassment?

This is another illegal telemarketer. The only way to stop these calls is to vote out the Republicans. They keep protecting businesses, including illegal telemarketers. Remember, they were also the ones that fought to allow political robo-calls. From 2000 to 2008, the Bush administration told the FCC not to enforce the TCPA.

Democrats would love to put a stop to these calls but Republicans fight them every step of the way and inserted all the loopholes that now account for the calls.

Robo-call machines and auto-dialers should be outlawed and phone companies should also be held responsible for selling service to these companies.

They are obviously "spoofing" the phone numbers- these phone numbers do not exist. This call was "john", I asked where the office is and he said in "Baltimore" (I am in Baltimore). Yeah right. He was clearly calling from India. When I said I would come to his office to discuss this mortgage offer he hug up. Plus, I am on the do  not call list. Like they really care. Just another telemarketing scam. I figure the best way to get them back is to waste their time as if we are interested...how can we actually cost them money? Any ideas? Force them to mail things to us, etc?

Same story of a cold call from an Indian Call Center, even though I am on the national  do not call registry.  I urge others to file a complaint on the Federal website as the more complaints the more likely that the FCC will take action against them.  This is the same web site where you register your number for the "Do Not Call" list

Got yet another call from Financial Advisors Group.  I just went along giving fake info to the Indian telemarketer.  He then transferred me back to a US man who was the loan officer.  I went along with him again to the point that he asked for my ss#.  I then said I did not want to give that out to some one that had called me so would he give me his phone number so I could call him.  I called him back and said I was on a do not call list and to stop calling me !

I called and spoke with Seth. He referred me to their corporate office 866-552-0403 and said I should speak to Keith. I have left a message for him but he is conveniently in a meeting all day. The telemarketer that called me said he was from southeast Asia.

I got a call yesterday and as instructed pressed "2" to be removed from their marketing list.  Got another call today with same message so I pressed "1" to talk with someome.  He said he was from Financial Advisers Group in Baltimore.  Didn't sound foreign.  When I pointed out that I had not been removed from their list he hung up.  I don't know where they are getting my name - I have not had a mortgage for 10 years - and I am registered on the do not call registry.  These peope are still at it.
