Unknown caller left mysterious legal msg.

Said they were with IRS and there was a judgement against me and wanted my work history , put me on hold and got disconnected , tried to call back and got recording saying number cannot be called as dialed . How can someone make a call from a number then you can't call that number back after you've already called it and spoke to someone once already ?

Don't disregard this call.  This is officer Brian Jones or Johns.  If you do not call back you will have to face the consequences!

That was the message I got.  When I called back the guy who answered said he worked for him and he was with the IRS

Someone called. It was automated, not a live person. Message incomplete, but did hear "either you or your attorney needs to call this number as soon as....  I hung up because no one would leave an anonymous message if there was a true legal situation, and I have no legal problems.  Also, they are stupid because they don't say who the call is for and there are 5 adults sharing this phone.

Same  thing he called and advised that if I didn't call the number back I would need an atty. If I didn't return the call  I would face the consequences.
The caller is hard to understand on the message calls himself Officer Bob.
When you call the 301-640-5355 it doesn't work.
When he calls you it shows up Restricted.

I got this same call about 15 mins ago..I was suspicious right away cause I have never heard of the IRS calling about any unpaid taxes. He told me I owed $25,000 and if I didn't have any money to give right now that I would spend a minimum of 4 yrs in jail

I just got several calls from this number.  I finally answer the phone and got the same thing.  When i call back I didn't get an answer.  I just went online to look it up and came cross this site.

This person is rude and crazy. Told me he would come f*** me in my face and called me a prostitute. I was furious. Craziness!!!!

We recieved this call twice in 1 week. The person doesn't sound american. He says our attorney needs to get ahold of them because we owe the IRS back taxes.Also claimed to be officer Kevin Brown.

The Indian scammers like to pick on women because they think they are vulnerable for scamming.   When frustrated they start engaging in sexual abusive talk.   Occasionally Indian women scammers will do it too, but it's rare.

Call blocker might help.  They will call again.

I have received several phone calls from a man named Brian John stating he works with the IRS and informing me to get my attorney to call him, and if I don't have them call I will have to pay for the consequences that unfold onto me. When I tried to call back, the phone call would not go through. He has called me 3 times in the past 2 days.  

I contacted my tax preparer. He said he had heard of this from someone else. He said to NOT give them any information and contact the IRS directly at the number listed on this link.

I recently had contact with the IRS regarding a missing tax return from 10 years ago for a business that I closed. So I contacted that agent regarding this call.

She said that IF you do indeed owe the IRS money or have missing information, they will likely contact you from a regional branch office, and not directly from the IRS in Washington DC.

Again, the link that CWG40 provided is a good one, as I was directed to call those numbers and report on the website listed. DON'T let them fool you.

Repeating lay getting calls 4 times a day.   Calls started 5 days after my bank account was depleted of all the funds by a worker taking my bank card from my purse while I was heavily medicated with dilaudid and phenergain I V.  I did not find out until I got out of the hospital and tried to use my card.  Thousands of dollars were taken from my account.  My institutin said money went ti Vietnam.
