This number is something in relation to Citimortgage; customer service, collections, etc. When I called them back the line was busy.

I need a release on deed of trust assigned to Citicorp Mortgage, Inc.  I have relevant pages of deed of trust, assignment, payoff statement and payoff checks.  Please let me know where to send info to obtain a release.

301-696-4000 is a call from Citimortgage.  They called me at 7:45 AM on a Tuesday morning.  Isn't there a law about proper times to call???  I only get a voice mail every time I call back.

Posting to confirm, this is Citi Mortgage.  They called because we just listed our house for a short sale.  

I tried 6 months to get a hold of these suckers looking for a meazley 6.5 to 5% adjustment on the mortgage.  Never heard from them once.  Now that they see they are going to lose some one who has never missed or been late on a payment they are calling.  

Well now they can suck it.

Did you ever get your release from Verdugo Trustee?
It appears Verdugo did some activity under the radar...so to speak!

I received the release of lien on my home last year from them, however, if they can justify a release, they must have the NOTE...and now I need that??

Did you ever receive your lease of lien and do you know if they ever sent your original paper work from them?   I am having the same propblem.

We are trying to get a mortgage released from 1998....they took it over, refinanced it and then never released the original.  They never sent anything to the borrower.  Anybody get anywhere with them EVER?

let me tell you all something, it is a big scam going on here in California, his name is David a, elder and the company is pacific housing and finical agency, from hacienda heights, and look at the exceptions on the taxs charity's from 2291 Clementina drive all in the same city and in ranchos palos verdes ca, it started in 2002 when the housing market was hot and they took risks on new buyers they forced into loans in 3 years by or die, its plain fraud mortgage, call your local district attorneys office in the county you live in and make copy's of your documents and turn them in,  fraud is if they even lie on one tiny thing there guilty. if there is a break in the trust deeds chain or titles ect. there thieves and you can beat them at there own game if your smart they will bully you if you let them. Do not go for the we just sold your house crap there not who they say they are, they are someone else investigate everyone on your paperwork name and company's go for it you will be amazed what you find. Have a ball with them they sell your mortgages so many times there is no way they have  everything you do if you find it and get them first. good luck to all of you, but fight them do not be afraid of them they cannot kill and eat you. they are a company recon trust that are not legal to practice anywhere there really b of a .

I would suggest you contact an attorney if you don't understand the document sent to you.

I aM in the same boat and have been fighting with citi mortgage for almost 5 years..now I get the same document from the Court clerk with this verdugo company name included..have u gotton anywhere and how did u proceed?

Thank you so much for responding..I have had 3 attorneys,hud ,consumer protection, and now my congressman office working o  this for over 5 years..I contacted the court clerks office about this new release of mortgage file April  2015..she said it doesn't really mean anything couldn't help me.I have ms and this whole mess is really making me sicker..oh and the lawers pretty much gave up on me..out of money.my original mortgage was supposed to be paid off Nov 2012..Citi is sayIng it matured march 2013..they say I still owe them 4,600.00 and have been threatening forclosure. ..in 2011 I get a call from my tax collector saying she recieved duplicate checks for my taxes ..I  asked if I pm twice ,she said citi sent a check after she had recieved mine.so she sent them their check back then the same thing happened with my house ins. So I they sent them there money back too. In the ME TIME CITI OPENED AN ESCROW SAY ING THEY PM THE TAXES AND IN ?SO MY MORTGAGE PAYMENTS WENT TO PAYING OFF THE ESCROW WHY ICC I NEVER HAD??AFTER ABOUT A YEAR THEY SAID THAT WAS STRAIGHTENED OUT??THEY I RE IEEE A STATEME T FROM CITI SAY ING MY MODIFACATION WAS IN DEFAULT I NEVER RE QUEST ED OR HAD A MODIFACATION ?AFTER ABOUT ^ MO THE THEY SUPPOSIDLY FIXED THAT??THEM
N I GET A LITTER SAY ING I OWE  3000.00 for extension interest. I never had an extention so they supposedly straightened that out too.but now they Say they no longer are my account holders and that they sold my mortgage to a Era can cordiousinternational.who then sent it to a close tin agency and I am getting Threatening forclosure letters. Now I get a document from my county checks office saying my mortgage has been satisfied and released  so I called the clerk and she says it doesn't mean anything and And that it is a release of mortgage by verdugo trustee service corp. Which when I called that number it took me right back to citi mortgage.. this is just mental torture just had to vent..any suggestions anyone would like to straighter this out befor I'm in my grave cause then what happens my kids get nothing?after 24 years of living in this home and paying every month on this mortgage for 20 years..just had to vent
