Called a few minutes ago.  Left no message.

I got me one of those Panasonic 250 blockers too and just blocked this one among many of the 301 nuisance area code calls that I get. As usual they left no message and were just bugging me but I did not answer.

Call was from the College Republican National Committee. How can they think they're establishing good will this way?

Repeated daily calls.  No message left.  Do not answer.  

Didn't answer it.  Caller ID said Alex Smith, a legitimate user and  phone number in Maryland.  This organization rips off private phone IDs to disguise its nefarious purposes.  Second time in a week this has happened, though not with this number.

Someone named Alex Smith keeps calling.  I do not answer because I do not know Alex Smith.  He never leaves a message which makes me think that it's a Telemarketing call.

Number is registered to an Alex Smith.  His number and name are being stolen to get the phone answered.

We know someone by that name, but when we answered, no-one was there!  We'll probably start getting called regularly, now.  Thanks for everyone's posts of warning.

Call from Allex Smith. If these people would spend more time working legitimately rather than stealing phone numbers from people and using them for who knows what, the world would be a better place. So tired of this crap.

Annoying calls

Received yet another annoying call from someone named "ALEX SMITH" from area code 301. I don't recognize the name and he/she/them will not leave a message, telling me that it's not at all important or legitimate. I've blocked the number, unknown if whoever it is will begin using another number as that's generally what happens, forced to block yet another number from some unknown person or entity. It's extremely annoying -- should be against the law to incessantly bug people this way. (All my phone numbers have been registered on the DO NOT CALL list, yet I still receive these types of calls.)

Instead of complaining individually, why don't we complain/report this robot abuse as a group ?
Do Not Call Lists are not effective any longer.
I think we are forgetting that this robot-call-menace is an abuse of the phone system.
I am a customer of Bright House Co in Florida and recently put my name on a Call Blocking service
that they provide. Am waiting to see if it is effective. I keep a record of nuisance calls that come in,
and put the date that I blocked them, to keep track.
No calls so far.

This guy calls several times a day, day and night. The ID says Alex Smith. I am on the no call list. How do I stop this caller?

I get repeated calls from this name and number. I never answer because I don't know anyone by this name, plus they never leave a message.

you cant the no call list only affects company's and political groups. Since there using something like ALEX SMITH a personal number, instead there own number the no call list doesn't apply then. It's just one of the many loop holes in all law and rules that are in effect today. You could make your number a privet one but it might not work.

Received call from "Alex Smith" at this number. Used caller ID to choose not to answer.  The above comments painted a perfect picture of the credibility of the caller. They'll not profit from me today.
