I get call from the above number I answered the call ! there was a man speaking with heavy accent Bangladeshi or Indian! he represented himself as IRS agent! Before I had similar calls from different phone numbers which was saying that I have issues with IRS! So I had reported before and they provided me a PIN code so any one who is calling from IRS I am asking for the personalized PIN code! you can submit your complains through www.tigta.gov and get your personalized PIN code. IRS never call if they need something they will notify you by mail.

I received a voicemail from a male with a foreign accent (Indian?) identifying himself as agent "Larry Wilkins" claiming he's from the Criminal Investigations Dept of the IRS. I called the number and I talked to more so called "agents" with the same accent and with names like "Carl Smith", "Brian Jones" and "John Adams". They hung up when they realized I was on to them. I sincerely hope these criminals get caught and ultimately destroyed.

I received a voicemail from a male with a heavy accent claiming to be an IRS agent for the Criminal Investigations Department with an important legal matter to discuss with me that might have criminal repercussions if I did not call them back within 48 hours. Of course I have no intentions of calling these crooks back. Figure if the IRS really wants to speak with me they will send a letter or contact my tax adviser whose information is on all my tax forms.

I got a call from 301-769-7627 at 3:00 pm 12/18/2014 and he's threatening me with an arrest unless I put $1258 on a Money Pak while he stays on the phone. I finally figured its got to be a scam. He was fumbling around claiming to be IRS, but he said that I filed fraudulent taxes with the state of Maryland.

Same BS as the rest. Indian guy claims he's from fraud investigation company.  Can't understand a damn word he said.  When I kept asking... Who are you? What company are you from? He says he'll transfer me to his supervisor who answers the line as Agent something.  As soon as I say to my mom... It's the irs... She screams it's a scam... He hangs up.

I got the same person calling with the heavy accent. Didn't even bother to wait for my voicemail message to complete before he started talking. I came into the message hearing the end of the phone number, and then he repeated it again, and said something about law enforcement getting involved if I don't call back. Ok, if you say so!

Same account just this afternoon from heavily accented "Agent Lenny/Larry Wilkins" regarding a legal matter requiring a response within 48 hrs. Startled my GF to hear such a message but we know its BS. Noticed lots of recent posts so I guess the scam quota push is on. Disregard and report these faceless cons....stay bright america!

Same as others: women with heavy accent telling me about a tax issue, fraud or something.  Her accent was so heavy, I couldn't understand the voice mail message.  I never answer numbers I don't know.  This one came up as "Private Name."
AS IF, IRS would not show that name if a legitimate agent called.  Had an earlier call about the same scam but a different number, so these creeps are working overtime.
