Left me an unhearable message; has shown up on caller id several times

Wanted to talk to my wife, when she was not there they hung up.

These guys are calling me since March-2007 from different phones. They always ask for some person and when i said wrong number they replied to me the person gave to them my number. Yes, they have my cell number and name also.

They don't even lisen and just they hang up. They called me everyday more than 5 times, [***].

Called twice - no message left.

only got one call about mid-day no message was left

person calls from 1-301-790-4200 and says that they are checking for fraud on a credit card that we don't even own. Sounds suspricious. Of course, don't give any information to them.

Caller asked if I had used my Sears Master Card shopping on Nov 23, 2007 at Kapolie Hawaii (There is no Sears store at Kapolei) .  I stated no.  The caller then asked me to make up a security password.  Then asked me to confirm my mailing address - this is when I got suspicious.  I said "Don't you have this on file" and the caller stated "I cannot share the information in my file".   Then I asked them to give me the last four digits on my account number.  The caller was unable to provide me with this information.  I then asked "How are  you spelling my name?".  The caller was unable to spell my name, the name wasn't even close.  The caller provided me with this number "1-800-335-1517" if I wanted to call back to confirm the legitimicy of the call.  However, the caller ID provided the number 1-301-790-4200.

I received call from this number but I missed it. The caller left a message that I need to call 1-888-201-4523 to provide some information about my credit card application.

im pretty sure this is just one of citibank's call centers

they called me to let me know my credit card info had been stolen. they gave me the number of a police officer in california who was handling the case.

I just looked the number up on 411locate.com. It is Citi.

received call from someone, but unable to understand message due to the poor English of the caller, I think they are requesting my husband to call  866 561 0467.  I am sure this is an outsourced call center of some type since my husband was injured at work and we have fallen behind on some of our bills.

I just spoke with someone from the fraud department, who called me from this number. They are Citi.

My identity was recently stolen and this is in fact Citi's fraud department.  The representative has been very helpful in resolving my fraud case.  THe number does in fact show up as 301-790-4200, but the number that is left on my voicemail is always 1-866-668-5747.

I received a call from this number 301-790-4200 but no one spoked on the other side of the phone.

This is Citibank.  I suggest you call them. 1-866-668-5747.

The number just called me today about my credit card application

At 12:42 PM yesterday someone made a call from my phone number and it appears in comcast phone log on the internet. but I was here at that time and didn't make the call. I had a call from Citi bankk fraud dept on charges made to my credit card Which they have stopped. How can they make a call from my phone number and not be here,

I don't think it is just citi using this number, I would be careful.  They called me two days in a row and today they actually left a message. "Hi my name is Rita, I'm from the bank card center. I'm calling for (my full name). We would like to have an opportunity to serve you. Please call back a 1-888-201-4523."

That sounds pretty fishy to me.

got this call in the afternoon. maybe from citi because i just applied a citi credit card yesterday. but no message was left. so i dont even bother to call back. who cares, go ahead to reject my application.
