calling with a recording to call the irs at 3018281926 about my text refund

Would they really call about it cause they called me

Got the same message today. I do not think this is for real. The IRS does not call. They send certified letters. I just found out I was the victim of Identity and in dealing with the IRS they do not call nor do they send E-Mails. Be careful because if they get your Bank information they could wipe out your Account,

Just did some research on this number. It is a Cell Phone from Bethesda, MD. The IRS does not use cell phones. BEWARE!

I got same call, supposedly IRS with additional tax refund.  Um, yeah, I prepare income taxes, so not happening! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!

I have received numerous calls stating they were the IRS and need to verify information for identity to receive my refund.... Nice try I already received my refund from IRS do not give any information!!!! It is a scam to steal your account information and Rob you blind of all your money!!!!

I got this call today as well saying that the IRS has found $2000 in funds available for me. Ummmm no thanks!

They called me said they needed to verify my creditials in order to have my refund check direct deposited. When I told him it sounded like a scam he hung up.

receved a cal from Mark Devn statng  had a refund of $2173 due me but  needed to pay $200 for penalties & fines.  Asked why  I have not receved a letter from the IRS telling me they have found errors

FOLKS!   THIS IS NOT THE IRS CALLING YOU!.  This is the most popular scam going at this time of year.   The IRS will never phone you concerning errors,  refunds,  or anything pertaining to official communications concerning your taxes.  They will notify you by US Mail ONLY.   The person calling you is trying to scam your ASSets off.

NO!  The IRS will never call you.  They do official business by us mail.  this is a scammer at work and this is the time of year for this scam.   Don't listen to them because if you do,  you are going to lose some money to a scammer working out of his back rooma or a cubical in India.
