Caller asking for "whoever handles" our accounting.  Another scam no doubt.  If they don't know the name of who to call, why bother.  I just hang up on them...

This number keeps calling me saying they are Verizon and would like to lower my phone bill. Once I verify my name, birthday, and address, they attempt to transfer my call and hang up.

You may want to contact your real phone carrier and have your account locked against "Slamming".
This is a trick that sketchy long distance or premium rate services and scammers use to tag extra services, fees, and/or provider switches on your current phone account, generally substantially increasing your phone bill.
By locking your account against "Slamming", the carrier will reject all attempts to slam on extra fees/services on your account without first authorization from you.

Unbelievable.... I am sitting in one of the places, hit by the Christmas tornadoes operating under emergency conditions and these scum bags call, I really hope karma deals the lowlifes everything they so richly deserve.

scammers trying to get your info, if you can, block the phone number and report it online   Calling attorney general's office doesn't help.

SCAMMERS-Why don't they get an honest job?

Called DNC phone and didn't leave a message. Don't know who this is and CID only displayed Delaware. Probably a scam.
