The usual "Free" home security system scam [***].

I got a call from this number.  I don't answer calls if I don't know who they are.  I let them leave a message, and then I call back.  This call didn't leave a message so I hope they don't call again.

To remove your number, Go to WCA Consent .com and fill out the removal form.

Got a phone call from this number (I was busy by my home phone). No message left from 302-394-9638 .

I am on DNC list, but that is a scam also as I have been bombarded with political calls and calls for donations as soon as I signed up.  Complain?  The DNC registry does nothing.

Thank you Vonage and companies like that who forced caller ID injection (for 911 location assistance) that also allow ANYONE to inject caller ID and spoof call origination numbers.

Here'e the text from Google Voice from these guys ... I use Google Voice to filter these crappy calls ...

"They opt out by pressing 3, but if you are a home owner and will agree to place one of our signs in your front yard. We will give you a free in home security system in free in home installation. Yes, hopefully home security system including installation press one now to speak with the representative Again press one. Now for a representative or press 3, to be removed."

They called me this morning around 10am central time. Thanks to everyone for the great tips! I too just do not answer calls I do not know and it looks like I'm going to keep it that way!!

Called and left no message.

This call came to my place of business.  I was not at my phone and caller did not leave a message.

This company calls 5times a day everyday for the past 3weeks; so I've reported them to the FCC, please follow the link below to file a complaint:

I'm also on the DNC - you're right, it doesn't help for sh*t.  Filing complaints with the FCC & FTC don't help either.  If you call them directly & ask what they're doing about the issue, their answer is "it helps us track these types of company's behavior & see if there's a pattern to the numbers they use".  They aren't doing ANYTHING about this issue!

BTW - this was a robo call that actually left me a voicemail - "you may have won a FREE home security system!"
