Hello my name is wesley brown am a music producer. i want to know if you do facial treatment, I want you to do facial treatment for my workers get back to me as possible thank you.

I typed this exactly as I had received it.  Not only is Mr. Brown annoying, but he seems to have an issue with the proper use of the english language and grammar.

The same Wesley brown has text me asking for facials for 8 of his employees. And recently asked if I would do a "favor" for his transport driver. Not sure what that means. He claims to be hearing impaired

Has anyone met this person?

i got the same message.  wants me to charge an extra 900 dollars above the 8 facial fees to the credit card and deposit the cash into his drivers account for him.....  ya right!!!

Wants to pay for everything in advance with CC and then have us give cash to "driver's account".
Would not call office. Calling number gets a "text only" automated message.
When we informed him/her that we do not perform anonymous CC charges, response was

"ok bye"

I also received this sms from this scammer. He texted my me twice 2 months apart. So annoying!

Yes, we got the same text this morning from a Joy Ramsey. Asking for facials for 8 employees and wants to pay in advanced and have extra cash paid to "driver". BEWARE.

Got a text from (302) 439-9305 today wanting to hire photography services. Also used the name joy ramsey. asked if I took credit cards. What kind of person does this?!? LOSERS oh also said they can't talk over the phone because of hearing problem... can only text.

Received a text msg from Joy Ramsey asking for 6 hours of photography services and if I accepted credit cards. Figured it was a scam. She also texted another photographer I know the same thing today.

If it smells like a scam, it's probably a scam.

(and the scam is that they over pay, you issue a refund, then their payment falls through and you are out the refunded difference....)

I got the same text within days apart from two different numbers: (312) 361-5938 and  (646) 801-9126. I played it off to see what they wanted.

Both has the same exact text. You can tell its copy and paste:

"My name is Joy Ramsey. I will like to know your availability day in July just for 6 hours service and also do you accept credit card as payment?"

" I am looking for 9th July, but i don't know maybe the date is open, if the date is open with you that would be okay, also what is your accurate cost for 6 hours service? it's a family reunion party photography service."

"I will need portrait work after the photography work is done after the event... And Its a family reunion party. "

"i will prefer 4 in each size let me have the total cost for my request so i can quickly provide you my credit card to deposit fully in advance for now."

"I can only provide you my credit card information to run manually"

"I'm also giving you a tip of $100 if you can do this for me now so I will need you to do me the favor by adding his fee together with your charges he has to receive $1800 via money gram or cash deposit for the booking"

"of the venue so i will like you to get back to me with the grand total cost so that i can make the payment today."

"I would need you to do me little favor, I have a little issue the event planner of the venue told me that he doesn't has facility to credit card machine for Total cost all together "

"I should have paid the planner myself but he doesn't not have facilities to the credit card at the moment kindly bear with me and get back to me with the grand "

I then told them "Vibiana does accept CC" (told me on scam attempt #1, but didn't mention on attempt #2), realize they got caught and never answered me.

It's not a bot. They do respond to your questions so be careful!

Different number but same scam. Joy Ramsey looking for 6 hours of photography services for family reunion willing to pay everything upfront. It seemed suspicious to me so I looked up the number and name and saw several scams. I kept it going for a while. Last comment I made "The FBI does family reunions too", just to see what kind of response I would get. The tone and language changed. This was the response I got: "Yes" "U kidding ya self" "Suck"

I also got a text message from Joy Ramsey asking for photography services about 1 week ago. They use different numbers each time.

Received text two days in a row from two different numbers, text only numbers at that, 312-361-5938 and 571-762-2218
Thought they sounded fishy, especially when the second text was identical and they acted as though it was a new inquiry.  Glad I found this conversation string before I got too invested.

Joy Ramsey called and wanted massages for 10 of her dancers.  Asked for credit card merchant info from 302-439-9305, but won't give details..just wants credit merchant info.  Said she will send a limo driver to bring every dancer for a massage.   SCAM.

I received a text message today that read, "Hello This is Joy Ramsey ,I want know if you do Swedish massage and accept credit card as form of payment?"  I did a Google search of the number (302-439-9305) and found this site with all of these posts regarding similar calls/messages from this number.  Glad I did not waste my time by responding.
