Called ... Nothing else?!

Called, but said nothing when I answered the phone.

person said they were calling regarding my Windows... I hung up

ID read "Scott Corey." Did not answer, no message left.

Called today, I did not answer and they left no message.

ID read "Scott Corey" would not leave a message.

Said they were from Microsoft and wanted my permission to look in my computer to look if for a virus. I hung up.

CID says Newark, DE.  Telephone company says it is no longer a working number.  I suspect Mumbai.

received call...no answer....if you get anyone to answer..answer you phone investigation and fraud.....that will get their attention

In the past, they have called me and I scared them off. This time I decided to play dumb. "Gary" (Indian accent) talked me through the steps of starting Event Viewer on my PC, and made the claim that all the warnings and errors were due to malware and viruses installed on my machine. He then offered to connect me to his technical support team. I stopped him and told Gary in a calm voice that he is a liar and a thief and that he needs to find a different job, that what he is doing is not a good way to make money. Gary then decided it would be best to cuss me out, hang up, and call back several times repeatedly.

Man with heavy accent from "microsoft" said he was calling be back (which i never called) about messages being sent from my computer. But after my five year old kept throwing a fit, and I kept asking the man to repeat himself, he hung up. Guess mr. microsoft doesn't like kids. Too bad :) I smell a scam.

Called and said nuffin!

SCAMMMER - called to tell me my windows computer was reporting serious errors to microsoft --- only issue, I'm a frakking MAC USER.... Jackwagons.

Received a call from 302-444-4795. Called to report that my Windows computer sent error  information to them about my operating system. Said he wanted me to turn on my computer o he could run me through the steps to check it. I asked how he obtained my information and he said when I registered my computer after purchasing it. I asked him if I registered it that he should be able to tell me who he was talking to as well as my name and address. He quickly redirected and wanted me to turn on my computer so he could check it. I asked how he obtained my phone number because if windows was reporting an error message it does so anonymously to improve the windows software. He still tried to get me to turn on my computer. That's when I lied and told him  I had  MAC computer. He said let me check. I heard him typing then the phone went dead.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Called the number back and it was not working. The number showed up on caller ID as as Scott Corey.

Received call and spoke to male subject with India accent. Caller ID indicated Scott Corey and phone number 302-444-4795. Caller stated they were from Windows support and wanted to speak with my daughter. I advised caller she did not live here. Caller then asked for a number she could be contacted. Told them did not have a number and that if she had contacted Windows support she would have provided a number. Caller stammered and hung up.

Got a call from Scott Corey 302-444-4795.  stated he was from microsoft and saw i was having a problem with my computer.  I told him I thought he was full of [***].  He had a strong India accent.  I asked if he understood me and he said he wanted to F__K me maam.

Love this idea to answer the phone "Investigation and Fraud"!  Although I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, if I did this would be awesome!

I got a call yesterday that also said scott corey , i did not answer it.

Windows called me? I own a macbook. Nice try. Rude idiots.

This nice fellow called from (Scott Corey 302-444-4795) "windows" to inform me that my windows was infected with a virus.  When I told him I had a mac and didn't own a windows pc the profanity started as well as threats against my children. This was their second  call the first call I made sure to waste about 25 minutes of their time playing dumb and double talking him to death.
