I got a call this morning from this number stating he had two "judgments" against me for a payday loan that I supposedly took out on 12/13/2010 through a company call The National Assistance Fund. I realized this was a scam, but what was scary is how much personal information they have on me. The man's name was Kenneth Richardson and that he is a Due Processor with this "law firm". I was driving when he called me so when I got somewhere I could write I called him back. This time he stated that the pay day loan was taken out on 12/4/10. I asked him where he was calling from and he said Georgetown, PA. However if you Google the phone # it clearly shows that is an area code from Georgetown, DE. He's not very good at this! He keeps getting his info wrong. He stated that the amount of $340 was deposited into an account at Educational Credit Union. I don't even bank there. This is clearly a scam. He kept saying that he was going to have me arrested and I said, bring it baby!

Caller asked for a long-gone former employee who has been targeted by several payday loan scams. Informed caller said person does not work here.

I just received the exact same call from Kenneth Richardson and he stated that he was with the law firm Chase Lowe & Assoc and that I am being prosecuted in my state. He even had the audacity to ask me have I ever been arrested or prosecuted before.  After several tries of trying to get me to pay for whatever this is I politely hung up on him.

Received call at homephone, didn't answer.  Cell phone rang immediately afterwards from same number.  My cell is rarely given out, so he's hacking something.

I also received the same phone call from the same phone number about 2 days ago and its also talking a payday loan that I got about 2 and a half years ago and the bank that he asked me was a bank that I closed about 3 years ago. He also said that he is calling from the same law firm Chase Lowe & Assoc. I to was told that if I didn't pay about $762.57 or $161.51 I to will be arrested. What should I do about it. He said that he was going to call me back about Friday Sept. 29, 2011. What should I do.

My husband received a 2nd phone call at work today from "Ken Richardson". My husband told him we are protected by a current Chpter 13. He laughed and said "good luck, no you're not". I called the number back, a woman answered, I asked for Ken Richardson, she put me thru. Probably to their bedroom in an apartment! I told him I was calling back to give him my attorney's name and number...he didn't want it!!! Even the nastiest of bill collectors take that info...if it's a valid debt. He went about the National Assistance Fund, and prosecuting my husband for $695, but "client" was willing to settle for $350. I said "you can't touch me!". He laughed, and said he would be sending papers, I said I'll be waiting!
