I have a call from 302-504-8487 also saying the same. Don't have a card from Wells Fargo so WTF. I think this is a SCAM AND AN INVASION OF PRIVACY ISSUE. Lets put these people out of business (whatever that is)

I am getting texts from 302-504-8487 claiming to be from Wells Fargo.  I am not a customer so I assume this is a scam or an unwanted solicitation.

Although I am a Wells Fargo customer, I very much think this is just a scam of some sort.  Tried getting a live person to answer, but it didn't work.  Gonna report it to Wells Fargo directly, and to local authorities if I have to.

Reported this fraud attempt to Wells Fargo.  They said they will investigate any attempts made, so I gave them all pieces of info.  Hopefully they'll contact the proper authorities and shut this fraudulent activity down quickly before anyone is scammed.

Got the same message as above, then just got another message from acc@wlsfg.com.  Wells Fargo, Call 303-482-1731

got a text message from number 6245   saying    " 700@noreply.com  [WellsFargo. Please Call at 13025048487]   now i am a wellsfargo customer and have been for several years but this is the first time i have gotten a text like this or for that matter first time i have ever recieved a text from wells fargo. seemed very strange to me.

2nd text today mentioning "Wells Fargo", shows diff no this time--like others here, don't have any accts with them.  Getting so bad, almost afraid to answer my phone.  Might as well have a land line for all the good being on the cell no call list is doing me.

This is a scam of what I read about. They try to get you to give out your personal information and CC info.  I hate this crap!!  If I knew how to track this # down and who sent it, these ppl would be getting a personal visit and it would not be pretty!!

This is fraud! I am a Wells Fargo customer and these idiots should know that no self-respecting bank would text a customer to call. I have received such texts from 577@noreply.com to call 614-459-1790 as well as from 866@noreply.com prompting me to call 1-302-504-8487, each suggesting they were Wells Fargo, within the last few days. I know people who work at WF and they confirmed they do NOT text customers so. I forwarded each text to WF investigations via reportphish@wellsfargo.com and let them go after them. We recently financed a home through WF and during the process I learned that Trans-Union sold my number to a different "preferred" bank (that bank rep told me when I asked) to try to solicit our mortgage business away. I also get mountains of unwanted telemarketing/robo-calls, mostly for some bogus security system deal, and I never answer any of them and they don't leave messages. Legitimate people can leave messages identifying themselves. If I don't know the number, it's not answered. I would like to add that, despite my reservations due to others' reported unpleasant banking experiences with WF, our first home loan went very smoothly with them because our loan officer was 20+ years experienced. They are professional and I have every confidence that they will do their best to protect their reputation and get these scam artists.

Yea, I think they think people are that stupid. I opened a account using all 0's and another account using all 2's. Like any one has a card like that!!! Ha!!Ha!!!
