Got this DE call also. Said they were the police doing solicitation. Some years ago when I lived in Jersey, I used to donate when I got these calls because I did not mind helping police programs. But, then I read a newspaper  article that it was not really the police at all but a public relations outfit and a major portion of the contribution went to them and not the police. I think this call was the same situation.

Called today for the first time. Left no voicemail. Caller ID "unknown name".

Answered the call today and man asked for my husband - first name only. I asked who was calling and they hung.up.

Received two calls from this organization within 24 hours. Probably telemarketing company hired on behalf of Delaware State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. These guys were rude, aggressive, pushy and obnoxious. Went to the website (they did not volunteer it - I asked for it).  I considered donating, but after considering the aggravation and rudeness, decided to pass. Shame on DE-FOP for using these creeps!

Called but left no message.

Got a call from above number said he was police doing a solicitation for funds.It was a recording.
