A man called claiming that I won some kind of  Lottery and I should press 9 to confirm. I just hanged-up.

Called by this #, I won Something in Las Vegas!!! press 9!!! to claim your prize! ha ha ha!

Weird, got a call from 0013027609043 in the netherlands bla bla bla lottery press nine.

Scam, credit card fraud, who knows ?

I got  a call today from this number, but I was not home, so I cannot be sure what it was, but if they realy needed me, they would have most likely left a message.

a couple minutes ago i got a call from "michael smith". he said we won the jackpot in las vegas, blablabla... it was this number. of course i don't believe this, so i just hung up. that's the best thing you can do people! don't believe this crap!

Received numerous calls from this number 1-302-760-9043 and 1-514-671-8989. They call at all hours and sometimes multiple times during the day. I hope someone is able to take action against these calls! I definitely consider it harassment to be called by a machine constantly trying to tempt me into pressing a button, that would most likely result in my incurring charges.

Received a call today at 12:10 hours EST. Claiming that I won a trip to Orlando Florida. After pressing "1" I requested removal from their lists. The person on the other line got ignorant and told me if I wasn't nice he'd put me on 200 more lists. I advised that I was on the Canadian DNCL.

just recieved a call from this #, I answered but didnt say anything, just dead air on the other end. call hung up on me approx. 20 seconds later.

Got the same call by 0013027609043. Wasn't home.... Noticed the strange number (0013, countrycode) and came out in the US. Call was made to the Netherlands, from the US.

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. They said i won not 1 but 2 trips...lol and said your mastercard must start with 5, they all start with 5.. SCAM.

Got recorded call from woman saying I had won a Holiday in Cancun just press 9 Yeh Doh Okay
