Fraudulent caller. . Johnathon Night  claims to be from IRS calling about returns. NO IRS agent would ever call. They only send letters according to Illinois Attorney General office and IRS.

Scam call from Johnathan Knight pretending to be from IRS. Total scam.

Received a voice mail message, from Jonathan Night, claiming to be an IRS agent regarding fraud on my tax return.  While he asked for a return call, I dialed the number only for it to ring about fifteen times and go dead.   Also, he did not leave the number (302-966-9241) on the voicemail but did leave his “badge # 46719”.  

I had same message.  The man spoke with a foreign accent.

Called our home phone about 11:30 am. We weren't in, but they did leave a message.

Heavy Indian accent, halting in odd places, almost sounded like a machine, trying to pronounce words veeery caaarefuuullyyy. "Officer Jonathan Knight and I am calling from Federal Investigation Department of IRS. My badge number is 06719. The matter at a hand is extremely time, sensitive and urgent, as after audit, we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax, which you are hiding from the federal government. So this needs to be rectified immediately. So do return the call as soon as you receive the message. Again this is Jonathan Knight from the IRS."

Caller ID: Out of Area. Time: 2:24pm Pacific time. I just got a message from IRS Jonathan Knight badge #06719, from this number, Went on to say I must call back because of fraudulent activity? Sounds like [***] to me. Just block the number to prevent future aggravation.

I keep calling back and they keep hanging up on me.. lol, and I asked to speak to someone that can speak English , they hung up on me again ! Im gonna keep calling ! :-)

We just received a call but did not answer. A John Knight (heavy foreign accent) left a message saying we were hiding from the IRS and to call him.

That's funny I just got a call from some foreign guy saying I owe the IRS an unknown amount of money and there goin to come after me if I don't pay them how do I find out and how do I go about reporting it I do know no gov't offices are open on Christmas Eve I know I'm gettin tired of these ignorant people calling and harassing me and my family I have them on the Do Not Call list and they still call

Just got 2 calls from Parminder (Johnathan Knight) about me hiding money from the irs....... I am Canadian and live in Canada! Nice try Dumbass!

Received a call from this guy today, early afternoon.  (Jonathan Knight) Maybe related to Michael Knight who drives K.I.T.T. from the old T.V. Show?  Doubtful.  As everyone mentioned, received a message from this guy Badge # 46719.  Heavy Indian accent.  Very controlled speech, trying to sound american-ish.  Definitely a con attempt, to gain personal information and either use it, or sell it.

I kept trying to call this guy back to really mess with him, but I keep getting a busy signal.  I want to harass the heck out of him.

Same call from JOnathan Knight. Oh I am really scared you moron. Learn English first. Filed a complaint with US Treasury Department.

I just feel sorry for people who get these messages or emails and don't know that they are scammed. Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences. It's painful (yet also a relief) to know it's not just me who is being targeted.

Called my work phone today and began his spiel with his badge number etc. in an Indian accent.  He did not ask for any specific person.  It's an obvious fraudulent call.  If the IRS wants you, they will send you a certified letter.

Hahahaha I got a call from "Jonathan Knight" today too and had a heavy accent. He realized midway through the call that I caught his bluff and he started abusing. I told him i am sending the police after him and hung up! called back and they dont pick up!

Message left -- said he was an IRS agent and to call him regarding fraudulent
activity on our tax return -- Indian accent.
