Could be it is Verizon calling, if you've scheduled a payment and did not make it, they'll call.  Verizon's customer service folks are some of the best.  They will hear you out and will try to help you.  Not all companies trying to collect are A--holes.  I've had no problems with them.

This is a scam. Do not give your personal information to this  "Verizon" person. If Verizon were to call you it would be an 800 number of some kind. These random local numbers keep calling me, and I keep blocking them because the actual Verizon wireless told me not to give them my information. And if your curious if it is a local store, its not. They are not allowed to access your information without you being in the store.

This is actually Verizon Wireless call to remind you of your outstanding bill and they do provide the 1-800 number to call if you would like to speak to Customer Service.  Verizon does have the "best" Customer Service Department I have experienced in many years.   Their call center is in the United States for those calling from the US.  Unlike my bank, airline, hotels etc. where the call centers are in India or the Philippines.  Although they are courteous, it is very difficult to explain complex situations.

this is a message about Verizon bill being past due(which it IS) but I just go to the Verizon site to pay it instead of dealing with this third party...

I do not deal with thr pompous incompetence that lives in the denver area. Hmmmm. Lets see. My bill is NOT over due....this is a scam. The majority of the scam come from denver. Beware of calls from denver.

Nope, it's actually Verizon calling to tell you your service is nearing interruption.

Its actually legit. Verizon calling to let you know a bill is due. I also received a text message from verizon. Not a scam and doesnt ask for money over the phone. Just log into verizon.com if you need to see your bill.

Fraudulent--verified with Verizon--the do not have a Colorado call center and all their calls come from a 1-800 source.  The voicemail gives 800-754-0961 and it is fraudulent as well.

It is a fraud number I verified it with Verizon.  They do not call from local numbers and the greeting isn't the correct one.  DO NOT CALL ITS FRAUD.

When you call it answers then asks for your pin.  Whatever you do do not enter it!  Sorry for multiple messages, but I hate fraudsters

Its Verizon reminding you to make the promised payment or that you are late in paying.  Answer it.  The Verizon folks are polite and helpful.  They'll work with you.

Sorry . . don't trust it period. I never pay bills over the phone period. Especially when there's no tie to Verizon with this phone number. I reaerched the phone number. Red flag there.

That's pretty funny.  Learn grammar and punctuation before you decide to slam an entire metropolitan area.
