Received a call,I didn't answer,I reside in Canada.

toronto number called / obvious computer call so told them to hold on and put the phone down for ten minutes /quickest way to get on the real do not call list

Who uses this number?

I picked up the phone expecting a recorded message. Instead a man asked for me BY MY FIRST NAME. This immediately set an alarm off in my head. I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying. He said it was Full Market Merchandising - or something similar - I asked him to repeat it again. I also asked how he got my name and number and he said 'Off a data base list" I asked which one. I started to pin him against the wall with questions - first my FIRST NAME and then being hesitant about telling me about the 'list'. Then all of a sudden, he said "Know what? You have a nice day". I said "Know what? I have your number and I am going to report you - you aren't going to have a nice day" and I slammed the phone up!!!! Where are these jerks getting our numbers??? I might add that I too as many of you are, a Canadian! I think he was a scammer - I think he would have said something about making money at home but I started in with the questions right back at him.

This number has been on my display 3 times and they never left a message.  Finally I answered the 4th time and it was a girl saying her name was Christina Miller from Full Market Merchandising doing a follow up call, and she asked for my name.  She was very hesitant when I asked her name.  I too am from Canada.

I just had this number call me. I answered hello, no immediate response so I thought it would be a recording and then this guy asks for me by first name as well. I normally screen my calls but I've just applied for a bunch of jobs so I thought I would answer it. So I ask who it was and he said some Marketing place. He then asked to speak to me by first name again and I asked in regards to what and he said a business opportunity and asked if I have a few minutes. I'm at work, no sorry I don't. But yeah, how are these people getting us by first name and reluctant to tell us up front what is going on. We have the right to know how they got our personal information.

I am canadian, the male caller had my first name, but pronounced it wrong which is a clue to me, since I have a unique name, that he really had no idea who he was calling. I repeated my name, and said "may i help you?" he said, you have a nice day and hung up. that was it, but before i answered this fourth time calling, there had been three other calls from this number where no message was left. I am with SHAW and they offer a call blockage service, so i have blocked this number.

I too just recived a call from this guy .This numbe rhas been on my phone oftern but i never reognized it.
I finally decided what the heck let's se who it is.... So i answered. I say hello, he thensays Hello is this Donna.. Calling by my frist name. I replied with Speaking. then it went silent and it hung up. It bothered me so i checked the area codse and do not know anyone in this are code  so i called it back out of curiosity. It says Sorry this number you have reached has been disconnected.. how can tat be . literally two minutes after. I hate things like this.. They get me going ..How do they get our names and numbers. This is one big reason why i don;t answer the ohine uness i recognize the number.........

They call me and ask for René but no one living her is call René ! I told the womane that was calling that she got the wrong number. Seam like the voice came from  Skip.

Data base???!! I'm sure that Rogers is selling our contact information to scammers.I'm in Canada too

Got the same type of call my wife answer and no one at the end of the line.. bizarre

I just looked up the area code.  It's a number in Colorado, so why it's calling everyone in Canada, I have no idea.  I'm in Michigan, personally.  Damn spammers and telemarketers.

I received a call from this number today-asked the guy if I could call him back and he said there was no way for me to get back to him. He asked if I was truly interested from making money from home and he had the answer, I didn't give him time to go on.  I am not from Canada so you all are not the only ones being targeted.

Got the  call today.  When I informed him this number is on the national do not call list (US), the jerk replies, what the heck is that, how much did it cost you to get on that list?  Free for me, I replied, but the $11,000 fine you'll pay will let you know who they are. Just got called.  Like Connie said, he is from Full Market Merchandising.  Many months ago I submitted my name and other information online for ways to make extra money from home.  Off and on for the past 2 months I've gotten similar calls to this.  I've never had any rude people call me.  When I tell them I've already started up a small business they're pretty good about leaving me alone and not pushing their business on me.  This guy did ask me a few questions about what my business deals with and how transactions are done, but I think that was just for him to make sure I wasn't pulling his leg.

I just received a call from this number with an unknown name so I thought I would answer it, and as others have stated they asked for me by my first name and proceeded to say something along the lines of some marketing thing...I just said, " Yeah what do you want?" and well the guy on the other line was like "Why your just a rude little B*tch" and hung up...LoL...I don't think they'll be calling me back anytime soon ;)  There's an option for those who don't want call backs ;)

I got a call from this number as well.  A man was on the other end and asked for me by my first name and then when I told him it was indeed me he hung up......when I called the number back it said it had been disconnected....very disturbing.....
