It's World Financial Network---AKA Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant, or Catherine's

Glad I checked here, because I am now sure it's World Financial Network.  

The worst part is that they use an automated dialer and don't pick up until after the voicemail kicks in.  I have five messages a day from these people, all saying "Hello? Hello? *hang up*"  Also, all from different numbers.  WTF, do they just think dialing me from 5 different area codes a day is going to make it easier to get in touch with me?

It's World Financial Bank.......Lane Bryant.  I missed a payment on my account.  I'm $25 past due and have until March 5 to pay my balance.  I mailed them a check on Monday.  I've talked to them by phone...yet they continue to harass me 5 or 6 times a day.  They use different phone # from various area codes.  I'm sick of it!

I am glad that I checked this site out because i have been getting 5 or 6 phone calls from them a day and they will not leave a message.  This is harrassment and sickening.  What can we do about it?

I am past due with them and working with a debt counselor, World Financial calls me every hour everyday, I talk to them and tell them my situation and they still harrass me. They refuse to give up. They also don't communicate with each other. I spoke to 3 different people on 3 different days and not one of them had noted my account to our conversation. I had to repeat my situation to each of them and deal with the frustration. I was on a 3 month payment plan with them to get caught up and the day after my 3rd payment they were calling to tell me my account was past due, I was so angry that they had me on a payment plan to fix that and yet they don't note their account.I am so sick of these people and will never do business with them again. All they do is harrass. I have tried talking nicely and I have yelled at them, nothing works. I wish there was something that could be done about their harassing people. I get depressed seeing call after call. It is so bad that I added all 3 of their numbers to my contact list and named them "A$$holes Calling" so I know definitely to not pick up anymore. I am so tired of dealing with them. I hope my counselor has better luck with them then I have.

I get calls from this number, whose caller ID says World Financial, multiple times each day.  When I answer, they hang up right away.  When I answer but don't say anything, it is just silence.  When they leave a message, it is an automated machine.

i have been getting calls from this number and 614-534-2534 and a few other numbers on my cell phone several times a day for the past few days.  if i don't know the caller then i ignore the call.

is there anyway to remove my number from this list?

Called and I blocked them. I have no store credit cards and never have.

Send them a cease and desist letter certified and return receipt by USPS. In the letter state that they are to immediately stop calling and/or texting you on any phone line associated with you and may only contact you by postal mail.

You might also want to add that if the calls continue you WILL be contacting the Better Business Bureau, The Attorney General's Office (both State and Federal) and the Federal Trade Commission to file complaints against them. That usually does it :)

Just tell the jkas's that the number you have is recycled and they are confusing you with the prior owner of that number. They have no clue anyway. Dont give out your name or any data even if you do owe money. Dont answer easy number 2 solution, 3- block or reject the caller.  As soon as you answer and talk, they know the line is active no matter who owned that number before.  It works, I've done it and theres not thing one they can do.
