    Tired of this
The phone rings 3 times then stops.  Or the answering machine kicks in and no message. Or if I do answer no one is there.  This is becoming a PITA!

I received a call from this number. The caller told me an address and 4 last digits of a SS #. I would not confirm or deny if they were correct until asking the name of the company and what they do. The lady gave me the name, but I could not understand her. I repeated it and she said no. I was incorrect. I asked her to spell the name of the company and she would not. She would merely say they handle 'personal and private matters'.

After hanging up, I called back and got the same person. She was just as rude and put me on hold. A young man finally picked up stating he was the floor manager and was only offering to 'help' me, but would not tell me anything until I confirm address and SS#. He said he did not need it, because he had it in front of him....and quoted the 2 first numbers and the last 4 numbers according to him. I told him I didn't need help and hung up.

    Freaky Company.
Hang up as soon as you refuse to give them the # they called.

Known only as Numbers, not Names. Ask for Supervisors, get allot of BS about What # did we call ?
Don't Give #'s  and told they cannot  Stop Calling your  #'s until they know Your # ?

The Word REFUSE to Give #, is well used.

To the Point of Intimidation for them to take off my " #" that they called on and Hung up on that ( 17 times )

    I gave a Local Area Park #.
    Called them back,they asked for...
    What # am I calling about ?

    Company Name
    EOCCA.
Employee # . Depends on the Rings while you hear them Talk about your " Call " Number .

This comes up as an unknown number till they got my voicemail. Then the number showed up. Left no message. I refuse to even bother calling back or answering after reading comments. Sounds like a scam. I worked in collections and they are aloud to give the company name.

Why do some of you people even answer their call? That's why I have voicemail on my phone. If someone calling me wants to talk to me bad enough, they will first have to tell me through that voicemail who they are and give me some information as to why they're calling; and even that won't guarantee my returning their call or picking up when they call again. Most of you who have posted on here have cell phones. Do as I do: take advantage of their features and don't even answer calls when you don't know who's calling you or why.

Calls from this number come in cycles. I've read the comments above and my curiosity is pretty well satisfied. For me, this harassment is stemming from a few weeks of totally unacceptable service with Century Link. What a cluster, they couldn't get anything right and now expect hundreds of dollars for this daily aggravation. I have stated verbally and in writing that I have no intention of paying one penny. When this number displays on caller ID I just hit the ignore key. They still have the opportunity to leave a message but don’t. This behavior will never resolve anything as it now impacts my credit. It’s a jungle out there. Be careful which psychopathic entity you do business with. In this case it was like stepping in doo doo.

My next step will be contacting the Attorney General in Colorado. So far, this has always worked.

I get calls from this number everyday and no one is ever on the line if I pick up. No messages ever let if I don't. I found the phone # for the company, CCA collections, and called to ask why they were calling everday with no one on the line. After speaking to a few people who couldn't pull up my phone number, I finally got someone who said they were collecting for century link. Asked to be taken off their dialer since no one answers and was told I needed to speak with another representative. Rang a few times and hung up on me. These people are horrible! Why call if you are not going to answer. Their corporate # is 800-886-9177. This number was very hard to find so I hope it helps someone out. I will be reporting this company for sure!

I've gotten at least 4 calls, just this month!  The worst part is they hang up on me without saying a thing...  How can I get these folks to leave me alone?  Oh yeah, and my # is unlisted, so how the heck did they get it anyways?

I don't know what this number is. They've been calling us a lot for months. They'll call randomly about once every week or so. What's worse, I am on the do not call list. If the person behind 303-267-4225 happens to be out there and reading this, just say what you want already, seriously! OR STOP CALLING!

Like some other people are saying, they just call and hang up. That's all they do. A couple seconds of silence and CLICK. Just as soon as I say "hello". I get no chance to figure out what they are. If I don't answer, sometimes they'll even voicemail that's also just a moment of silence. It's nearly creepy. Maybe it's some now defunct auto-dialing advertising thing?

    yep its a scam
I received a call from them a few times this month. Being that I didn't know the number I let it go to voice mail. they never left a message so I called them today. they answered right away. I told them I missed a call from here and asked who they were. they stated they were EOCCA. I asked what they were calling for. they asked for the number that they have called and I gave them mine. they stated that I had a balance with centurylink that was sent to them as collections. I stated that it was a business account that was closed and paid in full last year. I stated to them to get ahold of Centrylink and they would clear it up. they said that they would not call them to clear it up and that I would still be called and under collections. I stated that if they were working legit, they would call their employer and get this straightened out and that if they called me again I would file a lawsuit for harassment and fraud. they stated that they would remove me from their list and not call me again.
I then called centurylink and verified that my old account was paid up. I also asked them who EOCCA was and they stated that they do not use outside collection companies to collect old dept. they have their own department for that. they told me to report them as it was probably a scam but could not tell me who to report to. I have a call into the Arkansas DA office awaiting on return call. If there is anything they can do I'll report here again.
