We are on the do not call list, this number posts on the phone as Thriftopolis.

Got one as well about 2 hours ago. No message just ID as Thriftopolis, think its a robo call even though we are in Do Not Call list since 2003.

I am getting calls and they r not leaving messages on recorder

Get these calls a lot....very annoying!  Whoever's near the phone picks up and hangs up so we don't need to clear the message.

We got a call from 3032750149 with id Thriftopolis, didn't pick up, no message left.  We are also on no-call list.

303-275-0136 is also used by Thriftopolis.

I get this call daily. I am also on DNC List. Working for DNC List must be amazing=getting paid to do nothing.

That's not how the DNC works.  Nobody in the government is monitoring this forum.  You have to report violations to your attorney general.  In any case, this is a charity and charities are exempt from DNC.

I get calls from these crooks every month.  They claim to be the Disabled American Veterans but the caller ID says "Thriftopolis."  They use the same truck that a dozen other phony charities use.  Sometimes they call me 5 minutes apart.  Always a recorded message from "Bill."

This number called my office from (303) 275-0104 and there's no way to talk to a person, but the robo-caller starts with:
"This is Bob with the Disabled Vets. We are calling because we will have a truck in your area to pick up donations. Press 1 for a pick up. Press 2 if you do not have a donation at this time. Press 3 for a...something or other. Press 4 for a large pick up such as furniture. Press 5 to hear this list again." And if you press 2, it says that they will call you next time the truck in in your area. I can't find a number to call them back, but I know several people that work with the DAV and they have a person call if they ever call at all.

They use several numbers, all starting with (303) 275-01xx
There's no message to leave, and there's no way to call them back.

Hope they like the sound of a fax machine because "Thriftopolis" keeps calling my unlisted home fax line.

303-274-1502....thats the number to the [***] that r calling everyone. I called them and bugged the hell outta them.. You all should do the same!!!

I own a store called thriftopolis and and am not responsible for these calls. We are a small shop located in Canada and are constantly getting emails and phone calls from people in the USA asking us to stop. We are thriftopolis.CA, and I believe these calls are coming from thriftopolis.COM registered in Florida.

I am consistently receiving calls from "Bill" at Thriftopolis!  It is so annoying!  I donate everything to anyone else!

I get a lot of calls from Thriftopolis, as well.  Aggravating isn't it?!  As some of you noted, because it is considered to be a "non-profit organization," it is exempt from the Do-Not-Call Registry...

But check this out:  I once actually spoke with a woman!  I asked her to delete my name/number from their list.  I explained that I live in a large apartment complex and anything worth having couldn't be left out "on the curb," because it would be gone by morning.  She told me that there is no way they can remove names/numbers from their call list!

So, here's what I do:  I tell them that I have items to pick up, even though I never do.  Once they get tired of wasting trips to my complex and wasting time and gas, maybe they'll get fed up enough to BAN ME!  Oh, my God, if only it could be true!

In the meantime, I'm going to try to contact to DNC Registry and the FCC to let them know that this is neither a non-profit organization nor charity.  I'll let you know how that turns out...  Stay tuned.

Thank you for posting this number! I called them and the lady got so panicked she said "oh my god" and hung up. Of course I called them back again =)

I get these calls all the time. When I have free time, I dial the number they use to call me. It rings through and I can hear the auto dialer trying to make calls. It lasts about 10 or so attempts and then hangs up on me. At least there are 10 people who aren't getting their nightly calls. try 719-634-7991

I am on the DNC too.  Thriftopolis is connected to the Disabled American Veterans charity in Denver and they are robo-calling to see if you have any donations that you would like to part with.  They called me today from two different phone numbers.  The first was (303) 275-0144 and the second was (303) 275-0106.   The DAV thrift store used to be on West Colfax Ave. (US 40) west of Sheridan in Lakewood, CO but it appears that they have moved.

The problem with the DNC is that it only subscribes penalties to sales callers who ignore it and not for charity callers, and the Disabled American Veterans is a legitimate charity.

Thriftopolis also uses the number 1-303-275-0113. Just got a call from them. I've blocked previous numbers from them so they must use several.
