Caller ID indicated "Interactive Solutions." Fast-talking male wanted me to sign up with "The New ATT." He knew my home biz line number...and knew that the other number was a fax number. Did NOT know what I was currently paying for my service. Offered me unlimited US calling for $89.95 a month, with a "credit" of $59.95 to be applied during the second month.

Man called stating he noticed we don't use our long distance very much & that he could lower my AT&T rate to $5.95 per month.  I asked "$5.95 for my regular phone and long distance?"  He stated "yes, $5.95".  I told him I did not want to change my regular carrier or long distance phone carrier at this time.  He hung up. I dialed *69 on the phone and it came to this #.  Of course, if you dial it, it tells you the phone cannot accept calls this way.

got a call from a this number, it was a woman, she knew my name and she knew i used verizon. she then asked if I was the one 'who's name was on the bill", i was a bit put off by my private information being replayed to me by this total stranger/solicitor....she must have detected the sound in my voice, because she was brief at that point simply stating that 'next month they were going to reduce my phone bill"...and then she abruptly hung up. i tried calling back the number that my phone captured at the name 'interactive solutions' and of course, all i got was a recording telling me it could not connect the call.

Received a call and the person started talking about switching me to Verizon for my Long Distance carrier at $5.95 a month. When I asked for a number to call him back, he hung-up.

I think that they call and pretend that they are switching you over to Verizon and collect personal information on you for possible identity fraud.

Called and hung up. I found out on this website that it is AT&T. I have recently been hounded by AT&T resellers. They all say they are AT&T but are really other companies selling AT&T. I have been lied to repeatedly and in very big ways by these people. One of these companies even changed my phone service without my permission. They made me an incredibly good offer and I told them to put it in writing. They said I would get a written contract in the mail with all the promises spelled out before any change would occur. This never happened. The promises were lies and they changed my service without my permision. It has been an expensive nightmare. I will never do business with AT&T again.

Saw when I goolged the number when they called for the first time that this was some kind of a fraud.  They hung up on me the next 2 times they called, then I finally got a man's voice yesterday.  He said he was from AT&T and wanted to ask questions about my phone service.  I told him I didn't believe him and asked him for his name & supervisor's name.  He asked why and I told him I had googled the number and that caller ID said he was from Intelconnect.  He hung up on me.

Got a call from the same number today. Asked for my husband i told him he wasn't home. He asked if my husband was the one that paid for our Verizon services everyday and i said yes then he rudely hung up on me. I was so frustrated and curious as to who this man was i had to look it up and that's when i found the comments posted here by you. Thank you so much. I am glad to know that it was just a telemarketer and not something or someone else. I was a little freaked out at just the information this man knew. Thanks again

called today and said they were from Verizon and that I haven't been using my long distance alot and that they were switching me to another cheaper package.
they knew my phone number, address. They asked me to verify my bithdate and I did. Now I feel like such an idiot. I got really suspicious after so then I googled the number and found this site.  I called Verizon and had them put a block on my account and the Customer Service Rep. from Verizon asked me to call them back (Interactive Sol) and cancel my acount immediately. I tried to call them back, but there is an ERROR with this number and I tried looking them up in the yellow pages...but no luck!
I don't know how to get ahold of these people to cancel the changes that they can make to my account!?!?

I'm trying to fix my bill because my account was changed without my permission.  I looked up my bill on-line and it shows that my service has been changed thru Qwest Communications.  I called Verizon and made all the necessary changes, like adding a block, but the rep. I talked to left out a few major details, which I did not know about.  So I've been keeping up with my bill and checking in periodically to make sure my bill does not change.  Well, it did, and here I am on the phone with Verizon again.  FYI don't give out your date of birth because that is your confirmation code for your bill.  How the heck someone changed our bill when it is in my husband's name is ridiculous, because my husband has been in Iraq for 2 1/2 months and the bill was just changed less than a week ago. Quest Communications told me that it was not their company that did the change but a company by the name of Peak Communications and here is the number...

This is the second time I answered this call. The representative is rude and abusive. First time, He asked for Mr and Ms. so and so, I asked him what he needed? He replied, he was from Verizon, so I asked him again what he needed, so he hung up. Second time, He again asked me for Ms & Mr. so and so, Again I asked him what he needed, he wouldn't answer, but he asked me if I spoke english, I said not at all, he replies you obviousily speak english. He then asked me for Ms. or Mr. so and so, and I asked again, what do you need? He replies, you obviousily do not speak english because your stupid and hung up the phone.  This is abuse and should not be tolerated.

Just got a call today from this number and when I asked if I could be taken off their calling list, the lady screamed at me, "NO!  We're going to call you everyday, Honey!"  Is there a way to report telemarketing abuse?  I am fed up with people calling my house and talking to me in abusive ways! I tried to call back, but of course there was "an error that occured when completing the call. Try again". And then I got hung up on for the second time in 2 minutes.  I'm so mad!  Any suggestions?

Said he was from AT&T.  Knew my phone information.   Offered a Unlimitted US calling for $59 plus Taxes.  Asked to switch my service.  I said that I would like something in writing first.  Line went dead.
