got a call from this number.  This is the 4th or 5th time.  What's a jerk

What was this call regarding?  He called my number as well, and I had someone screen the call for me.

ryan thomas is a schill name for, well, basically everyone at Integral Recoveries in Denver.

They called me looking for info on a long-past employee. Even disclosing he owed them $21,430 for an auto repo. Nice bunch of bottom feeders.

Wow, the posts on here make no sense.  If you call this number, Ryan answers or you get his voice mail.  I had no trouble asking him for the business name and finding out it was Integral Recoveries, a reputable legitimate company that provides a very necessary service to the state of Colorado recovering past due taxes, court fines and many other debts.  In our current budget crisis we need collection agencies!  Sure there are bad ones out there, but I checked into these guys.  They are legit and have a long track record of doing honest business for our state and others.  Megan, why screen the call?  Much easier to take the call than hide and then google the number.  If a collector breaks the law, call the attorney general!  The AG says these guys have never been fined for any violation...pretty impressive for a collection agency.  Not sure why people need to post here when this information was so easily obtained.

i have no idea what the call was inregards to, however ive had multiple calls from this number asking for someone who is not me and has a different first name (although we do share the same last name). when i told him it wasnt me he said "well its not like i pulled this number from nowhere." and was then incredulous when I told him that my last name is not all that uncommon. Kind of rude when its not my issue.

I got a call from this # as well and googled it out of concern.  I called it back and they were trying to collect a legitimate claim.  Dude everyone is attacking is right - collection agencies are necessary, and this one is legitimate.  People do try to run from their debt so if you got a call in error - it doesn't make it a scam, it was probably just wrong or outdated information they had.
