I received this call at 6:50pm on a Wednesday.  From 5 - 7 pm, solicitors are not supposed to call.
A caller identified himself as "Nick" from the front office of The Colorado Avalanche hockey organization and said he had some information on deals for long time fans.  (Not once in the 12 year history of the team in this town have I received a solicitation call like this.)
When I asked if they were posted on the website, he said "You're not gonna check it are you?", I said "Yeah, I'll check it."
Then he asked if there was a better time "to chat".  Since I'm recently married, I don't think I want to be "chatting" with some guy I don't know.
I told him Thank you for the information and I would order tickets when I wanted to.
He said "Good luck with that" and hung up.
Good luck with that?  (From the mid'20's sound of his voice, I think I've been Going to hockey games longer than he's had whatever fake job this is)

I received a phone call from "Nick," as well. He left a voicemail saying he was with the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, and for me to call back as soon as I could. After reading the previous post about this guy, I don't think I will!  ...How'd he get my number, though? Hmm..

Just got a call from this number this afternoon from "Jesse."  He claims to work in the Denver Nuggets front office and has some exciting news.  Glad I looked up the number and read the other posts - won't be returning the phone call.  Be cautious if you do!

I got the call on May 19th from the same Ivan Jones, using the same "exciting news" comment from above, asking me to call him back at 303-405-1669.  He called my work phone, which I've used to order tickets from Ticketmaster with for work related events, which validates the ticketmaster connection posted above.  I'll be sure to tell Ivan where he can stick his exciting news if he calls back.

I also received a call from someone claiming to be from the CO Rockies. I have never attended a game or purchased tickets. Not sure how they have my phone number and she also asked if she could call back at a more appropriate time.  SOunds just like everyone elses experience.
