Caller left message Officer Ben Grove and said it was a legal emergency. He gave a different number to call him back. The 303 number, when I called it back, stated it was no longer a working number. He told me that I would go to jail if I did not tell my son that he was looking for him. This same type of call was made to me once before. When I started laughing at him he asked my why and I told him that I would like to see the local police come and put me in jail for something I did not do.

Just got a call from this # said they were calling from Microsoft.

Got one, hung up upon my answering

Got a call yesterday from New York caller.  Today, Boulder, CO.  They hang up without leaving messages but when I look up the number of the internet, the comments from others seem to be fraudulent callers.

it was microsoft and told us to F___    off!

I just got a call from this number from people w/heavy accents saying they were from Windows and that my computer was at risk and had a lot of errors and warnings which I know my computers been running really slow so they walked me thru a few steps and I saw where I do have a bunch of errors and warnings but then when they got to a point where they wanted me to tell them an ID # that was on the screen I was wondering if it was a scam and told them my computer froze up and asked if there was # I could reach them back on. She then "connected" me to her supervisor and he said it was very important to do it now and restart my computer so they could help me. I told them I was busy and asked again for their # which he would not give to me and said he'd try later and hung up. I sure hope they didn't get any info from me!!!! I got a call on call waiting from the same company except the one # was from NY and the other from CO! Obviously it's a scam!!!

I also just got a call from this number from a man with a very heavy accent. He said he was from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was running windows. I asked him why he wanted to know, and he said it was so he could help me with my computer. I laughed and told him I didn't need any help ( what a scam! ) and he hung up on me.

I received a call from this number this afternoon 14/12/11. As I was not at home and my answering machine was off there was no message. The phone number was showing on my phone but the name was marked as UNKNOWN CALLER. I phone this number back. They did not pick up nor was there an answering machine.

Got a call from this number....the man had a very deep accent.  He said something about a loan and I told him sure, that I was going to use the money to pay an hit man to hunt him down and he hung up.  Then 5 minutes later he callled back....just aggrevating as h**ll.

Same scam from this number and 2 others (315-458-7682 and 510-943-3040) all within 2 hours. All claiming to be micro soft support and trying to get me to allow them to download their remote software onto my computer so they can fix it.

I had a call from this number. man I could barely understand said he was with micro computer support, and my computer had a problem and he could fix it in 5 min. No way. Phone ID said Boulder CO.

I just received a phone call from this number. I did not answer as it is an area code I do not recognize. I tried to call it back to see who it was and the operator said that this is a number that is no longer in service. I literally phoned back less than 5 minutes later. So I am assuming a scam as well..

Caller with heavy Indian/Pakistani accent said he was calling about windows. Said he was a Microsoft gold partner and wanted to fix my windows. When questioned used the word terrorist. Very hard to understand but an obvious phyishing scam.

I just got a call from that number...its a fake company which has many number like ...: 516-746-9347 also 618-529-9140 also 760-733-9829 also 818-890-3853 and 845-786-8730 they all call to tell you there is a problem with your computer and the computer send us a notice  so we call you...be careful they will ask you to push ctlr button with a F function like F1 or F2 dont do it... what happens is this simple...they will take control of your computer  and erase one after the other your programs, icons and ect... my sister also lost her laptop...be carefullllllllll.

They all speak english with an accent.

Just got a call from this number - English speaking with heavy accent with the same story about problems with my Microsoft. Asked him how he would know and he gave some lame reason. Told him thanks for the call and that I would take my pc in to have it looked at by a professional.  So glad that there has been warnings about scams like this.

The caller said he was from 'Windows' and wanted to talk to me about my computer... how can I block this call?  Why is someone calling me in Canada from Colorado?  His accent was strong, sounded like it was from India or environs.

Just got a call from this number today. No message. Googled the # and found 303 is Colorado (Ontario, Canada here). Then I found this page. Tried to call back, got a "this number is disconnected" recording...I'm gonna go with scam on this one....

My mom and I keep on getting this call from "Microsoft" about our computer. They won't stop calling and harassing us. We keep on asking them not to call here and they still call us weekly. How do we get them to stop? If anyone has a solution please post it on here.

Just got a call from this number and from other numbers (most probably the same scam), but they hang up on me everytime.
