this is another scam.  supposedly a lien against my social security number.  not true.  doesn't make sense and they've been calling from one phone number or another for several years to me.  always a thick accent.
used to always be a law office.  I'm always up to date on my credit reports and these people need to be reported.  they say they are a law and investigation company.  all a scam.

I need to figure out how to get them to stop. I've blocked them on my verizon online account, but they call from different numbers as well, saying that their old number can't get through to me. Last time I actually answered they told me "You better hide, becuase if I come find you, you'll regret not paying, and You'll be DEAD"

This scam artist calls constantly demanding money.

I'm 18, never taken out a loan, and this number called me earlier today saying i was going to be sued for owing money to a certain company for a loan i never took out. I tried to be professional with the man, but he insisted i have my attorney call him, and hung up on me 3 times, as well as my dad once, who is an ex navy seal commander. Now after going through all the trouble to have my attorney call him, i see now it's a scam. DO NOT GIVE A CENT OF MONEY TO THIS COMPANY. Heavy spanish accent, obviously foreign, and in hudson CO. If anyone wants to or can, please call the Police in Colorado to have these men arrested for harrassment and false identity.

Actually...Its not a heavy hispanic accent. Its a middle eastern man. I got the same call. He threaten my life.

Same thing has been happening to me for 2 days now. This man has a heavy Middle Eastern accent and he curses at me repeatedly and says that he "will call me 1000 times if he feels like it". I have recorded all of the voicemails that I've received from this number. I am hoping to record enough calls where I can then contact my local police, because I this point I'm all out of ideas. Almost immediately after getting a message from 303-500-0409, I then get a call from 954-606-0762. An internet search shows this number is from Miami, Fl. I'm so confused.

I'VE had the same problem its fraud I called and reported them. Theve called my phone over 20 times in 1 day..How do I get them 2 stop?

I had gotten a call from this number today from an officer Jacob Martin, I work at a background company and I ran a trace on this ph# and it's listed to Robin Wilson in Weld county, phone carrier is Pac-west Telecomm Inc - Co, also ph# 954-606-0762, 952-852-6698- these are all SCAM'S- don't fall for their BS.. They say that you have charges filled in your name and need to call them back, they have called me several times and each VM call gets angrier and angrier! The last VM they left so far told me to have my attorney call them, you can tell they are calling from a call center of some sort due to the background noise when they are talking. I was told to contact your local police dept & file a complaint.

I received a phone call from this gentleman saying his name was Officer Roger Black and was looking for my sister M.T. Stating that he is from Department of Law Investigations. He told me to tell my sister that she has a law suit filed against her for financial fraud. My sister called back and they told her that they put a freeze on her SS# and her school loan and she could go to jail for at least 45 days. When she called them they changed their name to Mr. Anderson and gave her a fake client id to go by for making a payment of 460.00. I called our local police and they gave me websites to help stop this. Since it is an international problem they don't have the resources to do much from the local dept. I am suggesting all who read this to report to these websites to get this problem stopped!....

I received several calls at home at work as well as my cell,officer Williams has threaded me with losing my job,fines,as well as imprisonment,have reported them to BBB as well as the FTC,just wish it all would stop!!!

My sis received a call on her cell this morning from a "so called" fraud investigator (Roger Black) wanting info. about me, when she asked what this was about, he said he could not talk to her about it, as this was an ongoing "investigation" on me for fraud. She wrote down his name and #  and told me I should call him back, as he sounded legitimate. Knowing that I have never committed fraud, I called the # back and asked to talk to Roger Black, the man hesitated for a minute, then asked me what my phone # was, I replied that my sister had gave me a message to call this #. He asked me if my sister's name was  E*** **** (he stated her full name) I said yes, he then stated my full name, and asked if that was me. When I told him yes, he stated that he was "Mr. Anderson" and said he was recording the phone call, and proceeded to give me a case # (that just happened to start with the same letters as his "badge" # ( CFI )), and told me I was under investigation for Fraud. He then stated my S.S.# and said he has a freeze on it, until I settled this matter with an immediate payment of $460.00, or gave him a C.C. # that he could charge w/i 15 for $715.00. I don't have Great credit, but I was immediately upset and told him that I have NEVER committed fraud, and that i thought what he was doing was the crime, as I have not even had a fair trial! He replied that he was trying to settle this matter out of court, as he did not want to have to put me through a court case, as the conversation continued, he was getting more and more upset w/ me as I was proclaiming my innocence, and was telling him that what he was doing was fraud and harassment, and that by law, he could not do ANYTHING to me until I was actually convicted of fraud in a court of law (it just didn't make since to me). He tried to convince me that that if i did not give him a C.C.# today, he could not help me, and the freeze on my S.S.# would stay, and that I could be picked up at anytime and taken to jail for 45 days. I told him I don't have a c.c. and I don't have any $, so send me the paperwork for court. He then said, in a very upset tone, that I was just making excuses and didn't want to pay a debt that I owed. (He just KNEW there was SOMEONE I could get the money from if I REALLY wanted to take care of this matter) I told him to send me the paperwork, and I would see his A** in court, and I hung up. I am very upset that he has my personal info. and would like to know how he got it! I would also LOVE to see this FRAUD go to jail!

mine was hispanic, but they're all different. I talked to a friend who had one from a 303 number that was a latino female

I called the Hudson country police dep. and they said the number is a unlisted landline without a location, so i was a bit confused too. If anyone has any ideas on how to catch these guys i know some people who would be willing to take the case for harrassment and threats.

I submitted a complaint, and the rest of you should do the same. This needs to be stopped fairly quickly.

has anyone applied online for any type of loan or anything?  i think this may be where they are getting the information.  I applied online for a signature loan and ever since i have been getting these calls.

One of my employees continues to get harassing calls from this number.  Evidently they are a collection agency of some kind (?).  I called back to take care of the issue for her - make payment, ask them to stop calling - because it was becoming so terribly difficult because of the number of calls and their hostile attitude.  A man with a thick accent answered and would not give me any information - name of company, his name, anything - and repeatedly hung up on me.

Today around 11:30am on Tue 06/07/2011, I got a same call on my cell phone.I don't know how they got my cell number.And I am tired of them bothering me and also at work.How do we stop this.There has to be a way to find them scumbags, and put em behind bars.Thanks, Patrick.

I was just contacted by a Sam Johnson saying I took out a loan from a online loan agency named CashNet. He then said if we go to court then I would owe $4600. I asked him when the loan was done and he told me last Nov. and it was sent to my bank account which he had.(Scarey) But then I told him it couldn't possibly be real cause I didn't get my acct. until March of this year and then I hung up on him. But from the sound of it I am going to get several more calls from him huh?

I keep getting phone calls from someone who says he's from a fraud department and wants me to send him money to correct a debt. I owe no one anything. i know this is a scam. I live in MD, does anyone know who I can call to stop this bull!
