My phone rings and no one is there.  I called the number back and got a recording saying the number is not in service.  How can a number no longer in service call me?

Same as above - the phone rings - I answer and nobody is on the line. When I call the number back I get that the number is not in service. What the hell?

I called number, got the recorded message "the number is not in service".  How do people get away with calling you, but you then call them (same #) and get "not in service" crap.  What's wrong with the system.  National No Call List is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

These (expletive)'s called me Saturday at 4:45AM!!!!!!!!! When I call back... Same story "this number is disconnected". These people should be publicly executed.

This seems to be a collection agency handling GE Money Bank.  They are nasty people. The name on the caller-ID says TRANSCOM INC.

I recently got myself in financial trouble. I started receiving phone calls from 303-532-3426 during the day time. There is never a person on the line when I answer the phone. When I called their number during the daytime I got the screaching noise of a fax machine. When I called the number at night I got "The number you have reached is not in service". This recording is not necessarily from the phone company. I believe it is from the company that is calling. I consider it a form of harassment. Whether it's legal or not, I don't know, but the fact that you cannot talk with the caller and the calls keep coming. That's harassment. They probably know a good majority will look on the net to find out who these [***] are as an incentive for futures collecting efforts. Harassment!!

Got a call from 303-532-3426 on both my home and cell phones (my calls are routed to both numbers) and the caller ID said Transcom, Inc. on my home phone and Longmont, CO on the other.  I'm not calling back since I don't know the number and they've chosen not to leave a message, but it seems suspicious to me.
