I promply got hung up on.

Mary Jane calling from an unnamed company calling about the copier. FYI -- THIS IS A SCAM. I have dealt with these companies before. They are what are known as "Toner Pirates" and will call and say they are from your "copier" company and instantly people think oh okay I know who this is. They ask for the information of your photocopiers (just the type) then they know what model you have and will send you the corresponding toner in the mail, usually by courier so they can prove it was signed for. (Most people just sign and walk away -- they will also charge you about 5-6 times what the normal rate is and will basically just rape you.) The worst part is, is that if it is SIGNED FOR it is 100% legal and you will be stuck footing the bill. They have been calling our company for years, and we were educated by our ACTUAL copier company about them and have been able to steer clear. We have had random toners show up but we tell the courier driver that they aren't ours and weren't ordered and nothing has ever been billed. We have also had to educate all of our staff on these people to make sure we are all on the same page. Even though when they call they get a tongue lashing, they still call back... Not sure why, they must love being yelled at.

A Mary Jane called from Customer Service (not even Xerox). She talked to my coworker (who isn't so smart) and she gave all the information - what type of machine, who it's from etc. She said that last week the price for toners went from $700 to $900 something! And usually they would send a written notice 30 days prior... but "forgot" to tell us. Then she said that they'll send us 6 toners at the old price. (during this time I was searching the number). I hung up at that time, then she called again, but I didn't even answer.

Like the last person said, they'll keep calling! :/

We don't use much toner, so even if she was making a good deal with me, I wouldn't take her upon it. Not for that price! LOL

Toner phoners, ask them what company they represent and they hang up immediately.
